Woody Paige on ESPN just said the Celtics signed Vermont big man Taylor Coppenrath and Miami signed the other kid, TJ from Vermont... if this is true i think that would be awesome.

Wow, coolness. I wonder if he'll make it.

Nice news. Danny I think will find at least 1 undrafted kid who can pan out.

Awesome. I haven't heard too much about Coppenrath, but he gives us front court depth. Does he has a profile on DraftExpress?

Interesting. I have always been a big fan of Taylor. What kind of contract did he get?

I still haven't officially heard this announcement, but I'm not denying the possibility of Ainge taking a flyer on Coppenwrath.
If he indeed is our UFA, he could find a future on the team as our 12th man. Basically a guy at the end of the bench who can come in for a few minutes a game and give us another scoring option. He won't be in there for rebounding or defense. When he's in there, its to give us another scoring option.
Either way, he's a low risk option. If he doesn't work out, we lose nothing. If he works out, we gain more roster depth.

I think Randolph Morris can go back to college since he didn't sign an agent.

he's just filler on the summer league roster, highly unlikely that he'll get a spot during the season. If we're going to ad a front court player, it's not going to be another rookie.

Taylor is from Vermont? I knew he went to VU. Anyways, I'd like for Danny to sign Gigli into the summer league. Maybe hes worth checking on. Some roster releases need to be done (Walker, GP, whoever else) if indeed Danny wants to add one good young undraftee to this team.

Coppenrath can rebound though, he may not be the next Rodman, but in the NCAAs he did alright against Warrick and thats not easy with Warricks athleticism and no other front court help to speak of.

I'm so glad Danny didn't pick Warrick. That wouldn't be so hot. Like they said, it would be a John Wallace/Carmelo clone.

BC, all those guys sound good.
Morris burned all his bridges. I think he has an agent as well.
