Hi, I will introduce my self. My name is Richard. I'm from Latvia (maybe you know). I became C`s fan in 2008 (I'm not bandwagon). When the NBA game starts, in Latvia are 2 or 3am, so I can't watch every Celtics game. Last season me and i friend wathced ~ 54 Celtics game and we saw all play - off games. I have three favourite players: Allen, West and Green. I know my English isn't good but I'm trying to make it better. Btw, here's RedsArmy article about me (I'm that second) and my friend. |

That's nice. Now I'm at the FIBA U19 World Championship. This is final day of WC. USA team got 5th place. USA today beat Australia with 78-77.

Welcome dude! Glad to know Celtics fans are worldwide. How unlucky to have to watch games at 2-3am. For me the games usually happen around 1pm in the afternoon so sadly I am usually out at work.

Welcome to CG asijslv! It's great to have you here. It's a REAL fan that stays up to watch games at 2 in the morning. And I complain when I have to watch them starting at 10:30 pm. Your English is great! Looking forward to talking Celtics with you!

Sometimes me and my friend watched games in work days and in that days we need to go to the school. Sometimes it's tough, but Celtics > all other.  |

Hello everyone -
Lifelong Celtics fan from CT. Used to go to all the games the team would play at the Hartford Civic Center back in the 80s til the mid 90s. Only get to see about half the games each year, as CSNE is blacked out in my area. I only see any games on National TV, or games against the Knicks and Nets via MSG or YES Network.

darren...It's great to meet you. Are you into all the other New England teams too, or do you go New Yorkish? CT seems to be the dividing ground. But we have people from all over the world here

I'm Boston across the board in pro sports. yea it's a split around CT. Have a lot of friends that cheer for a combo of NY and Boston teams.

College teams I like 3 different teams in 3 different sports for 3 different reasons;
Hoops: UConn. Home team. I was young when they started to appear on the National scene. They grew on me. It was like Xmas morning for me when the Celts acquired Ray Allen, my favorite Husky of all-time.
Football: Notre Dame. A couple cousins are alums. Went to a game as a kid and was hooked.
Hockey: Boston University. Hockey was always my 1st love, especially anything regarding the 1980 Olympic team. Finding out Jim Craig and Mike Eruzione went there made me start to follow them.
and since we're discussing all sports. I also support Manchester United.
This PSU scandal is awful. I feel for ya and any fan/alum. Just terrible.

Welcome to CG Derren! Man U fan huh? Sorry but I'm a Liverpool fan through good and bad times although mainly bad these days. So I have a natural tendency to dislike you out of jealousy from all Man U's continuous success! Lol.

Thanks FL, jrmzt and Fresh. Looking forward to talking Celts eventually (maybe). jr - understandable being a Liverpool fan, we are meant to have dislike haha. Fresh - if there's been another Darren Daye posting it wasn't me. I just decided to choose a random celtics players from the 80's as my username. Only boards I have posted on in the past is a red sox board and a couple hockey ones.
