oh and I am lucky enough to have tickets to see the Celtics tomorrow night in Charlotte. it is my yearly trip from Wilmington, NC to Charlotte to see the Celtics play!! I cant wait til tomorrow night!!

They always seem to be good but I'm not a Tarheels fan so I'm probably not the one to ask. Unfortunately I have been a Notre Dame fan all my life and it' not much fun being an Irish fan these days. |

I may be in the minority, but I really like Luke Harangody. Lots of mock drafts have him going in the 2nd round, but I think he's a legit mid 1st round guy. He may have Scalabrine's body, but his game is not far from Jared Dudley's (who is making quite the impression in Phoenix these days). I would be really happy if we landed him with our 2nd round pick, but also wouldn't mind spending a late 1st on him either.

Ya Harangody could be the NCAA Player of the Year and not get drafted at all. I don't know how often that has ever happened but these GM's seem to look more at measurables then they do at success and production on the basketball court. The question with Luke will be can he finish around the basket in the NBA? He's developed 3pt range(on the college level anyway) an can score in a variety of ways with both hands around the basket. I think he absolutely be on an NBA roster and could become a very solid role player but his lack of athleticism will keep him from ever finding the success he has had in the NCAA at the NBA level.

I believe he can do damage around the basket. Harangody is a smart basketball player. He's not an athlete, so he uses the other tools he has--smarts and his rugged body.
I feel he'll be a solid contributor in the NBA--equivalent to the success Hansborough will have.
