Which batter's swing did you like the most?
Bonds' had a quick and efficient swing that I had tried to emulate; but never could.
At one point, I thought maybe I should try to hit like Paul Molitor, with the bat quietly sitting on my back shoulder and minimal movement in the lower half of the body.
I was always a Roberto Alomar fan (being a 2nd basemen myself), and I tried to mimic his fielding as well as his batting (but failed at both).
I had admired Ted Williams' powerful, yet graceful swing. It was like he used his entire body, all syncrinized perfectly, to hit that ball right on the button.
But my all time favorite swing in baseball is Griffey Jr., in his prime with Seattle. What a thing of beauty. He really made hitting a baseball look so easy.

Haha I love guys like Jim Thome that look like they're trying to fall a tree with every swing. It's fun when watching them make contact and probably more fun watching them swing and miss.

Hey, don't derail the topic, RR All we are talking about are the swings, not the stats.

Jeff Bagwell had quite a herky jerky swing. His stance was really awkward. I tried squatting like that for awhile, but my legs would tire in batting practice. Actually, Manny has a nice right handed swing. His swing doesn't rank as high on my list, but for right handed batters, he's right at the top.

I never understood how Bagwell could hit like that. I couldn't generate any power squatting that low with my feet set that far apart.

Bags had a really strong base, but because he was juiced, he had Popeye like forearms too. He generated a lot of torque, which got him the power. Not many players can hit with such a low crouch like his.

Hmm hard to say which I like best...Ichiro maybe? His pre-swing batting pose is just wicked. And he is a very effective batter.

The only guys whose swings I feel like I can really remember as being really nice were Boggs and Johnny Damon, as much as I hate to admit it. They were singles swings. Just like "there is no way you'll get that ball by me without me making contact".
In old video of Babe it looks like he's swinging a toothpick
I never really saw it, but I assume Tony Gwyn could get it done.
Also I remember watching Bo Jackson hit two home runs in the all-star game. They were really awesome to watch

Also watching Pedro swing whatsoever was enjoyable but not because of how good it was.
