Welcome everybody! It's great to see some new blood joining our grubby little band of Celtics fans. A few different points of view should make the discussions that much more interesting.
The downside to this is I may have to start wearing pants now. Keeping up appearances and all that jazz.

Hiya! yeah I too think that Perks is doing great! I've been voting him for the All-Star game although I doubt he'll get the starter vote over Dwight. I do hope he gets in as a reserve though...but Shaq's popularity is a daunting mountain to climb.

Fresh, pants are not a requisite to post on this board. Just make sure your shoes are tied.

Welcome to each of you! It's always exciting to get new points of view and new people to chat Celtics with. And Yes, Perk is having a great season. I've voted for Perk every year (even when I had to write him in). I've been on his bandwagon since his rookie season. I love the big guy!!
I'm ready for Miami. I sure hope that defensive intensity we saw in the second half of the raptors game is back for this one!

I say Celtics Green and CelticsLife lead the effort to get Perk into the All-Star game. I'm all for it. I vote for Perk every day! (along with the other starters) Dwight Howard definitely deserves to be there but I can't think of a better center than Perk to come off the bench. But, I bet that the coaches pick Shaq, even though at this stage of their careers Perk is better. But Perk doesn't get the respect he deserves because he doesn't get the flashy stats because he plays a role on this team and the majority of that role is defense.

I say Celtics Green and CelticsLife lead the effort to get Perk into the All-Star game. I wasn't much of a Perk fan before, admittedly. But he's got my vote now. Something happened when I watched his fishing video with Clifford Ray, and now I like the guy. I got to know the Perk away from basketball, and I guess I warmed up to him from then on. Yeah, I like the big lug now--he's alright.
