This team has no freaking heart. Maybe KG is just an regular season player. He refuses to play defense in the last 6 minutes. Where is the emotion? Where is the passion we had all regular season?
The refs have sucked, but they act like they don't' care.

Yes we lost our composure...... Guys need to stop getting down letting guys score and thinking we deserve something. Who cares who is on the court. We are a better team and should not be allowing JJ to score like that. They need to stop whining about the refs and who is int he game. That is just being defeated.

If JJ can do that do us what would Lebron do?...Back to the drawing board and just regroup in front of our own fans...That 4th quarter was embarrassing cause that was not the Celtics team with passion...Hawks literally owned every aspect of the game in the 4th, that should not happen...what's up defense?

What i saw is guys are looking around looking for help when they aren't guarding their man. I honestly dont care who was guarding JJ. We were just playing crappy and need to get back to playing the style of play that got them there. We were walking it up the court instead of being aggressive on defense and offense. People were looking around instead of stepping up themselves. If we can't beat the hawks with our starting 5 out there something is wrong with the way we are playing and our mindset.

Hi guys; long time no-post.
Unfortunately, I am doing a very unanticipated rant during what should have been an easy series. We are playing like a bunch of idiots (so much for Pierce's assertion that we couldn't possibly play so poorly two games in a row!) and have inexplicably allowed a bad team full of loud-mouthed punks believe they are as good as we are. And I thought Detroit was complacent and inconsistent!!
Assuming we win this series, they've just ruined these playoffs for me. I'll always be looking over my shoulder for the next let-down game or inexplicable lapse of concentration. I had no doubt going into the playoffs we were the team to beat, now I'm not sure where our pride and composure went. The last two games can be summarized by a series in the second quarter where Rondo blows an easy layup, Garnett gets the offensive rebound but misses the easy put-back, Rondo gets that rebounds and misses his follow-up shot, then Atlanta scores on a Bibby LAY-UP on the other end. What happened to our pride in wanting to avenge a bad loss and shut them up for all their trash talking? Except for that one run late in the 3rd quarter we were horrible tonight. What an embarrassing 4th quarter. If we don't turn things around and win the title, I will be pissed-off and this team's biggest critic until they finally (if ever) put up a banner.
I haven't been so livid since a certain baseball team I like blew a 3-0 series lead (and no, I haven't forgiven them since either). I can't believe my eyes -- what in the world happened to the best team in the league?
I still feel we will win this series (as I will be even more shocked than I am now if we lose to these wanna-bees at home), but I really feel that any other team left in the playoffs will have not one bit of doubt that they can play with us given how we can barely hang with a shabby team that could not even win half their games this year. Absolutely PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, I haven't forgiven them either for that choke job They haven't been a real "team" in years, just a bunch of walking money bags...Anyway, Celts won the first two games by an average of 21pts so i'm thinking some home cooking will bring out the best qualities of the Big 3 and OUR BENCH...It's obvious when Rondo comes out our team seems to lose its steam and fall back to being slow and bored and then we never can get that momentum back on the road..O well, all that matters is moving on to the next round...Banner 17 does not care how we do it...

Tommy had a good point that when rondo and pierce are out we lose our aggressiveness and i agree. He also doesn't understand why TA isnt playing in these instances and i agree as well. TA was one guy that kept going to the hoop even when pierce and rondo were out and we could use that right now.

At least Pierce knows what's going on. "We are used to holding teams to 40-41%. that's when we are at our best. When teams shoot 50% and you allow them to get to the line like we did, you run into problems and that's that"

I'm usually agiasnt doc but this post is not..I just think he is trying to hard and is outcoaching himself
I'm really suprised Doc has not used the SMALL BALL lineup agaisnt this athletic team when coutnless times he has used it when i thought it was stupid to do so and not i think that would be a great lineup(for certain points) and he doesn't use it..Just IMO tho, i don't blame any of these losses on Doc tho, players are the ones getting run over out there..But Tony, Rondo, and Pierce is a great attacking trio...
C- Garnett on Hortford Pf- Posey on Smith....(SMITH IS NOT THIS GOOD but Garnett is having trouble with his speed) Sf- Pierce on Marvin or whoever Sg- Tony on JJ Pg- Rondo on Bibby
But yeah, just popped in my head...

I like that lineup. I'm also not knocking Doc as you know. I tend to think he was going with his best players and felt we should be able to win if we play the right way and he is right for the most part. I think with our mindset tonight we were losing regardless. I dont tihnk it's so much the lineup. It's more the mindset but a lineup like that could help us get that mindset back.

Yeah, i was just going off what Tommy said and a trio of guards(PP TA RR) could really get that aggressive play back and defensively that lineup seems very strong and aggressive...Obviously Doc was going with the same lineup that won the first two games by 20+points and didn't expect them to come out flat footed twice in a row..I mean letting offensive rebounds to one man in the final seconds is unacceptable and shows no mental toughness...But a checkup from the Doc should set everything straight...We are the Celtics...
