kobe bryant or tracy mcgrady?
forget about the rings. kobe has shaq. tracy has.......well, he has juwan howard. nuff said.
who's the better player between the two young guys. both straight out of high school. both took a couple of years to breakout. both are stars capable of being the main piece of any team.
both have supreme athleticism and are great scorers.

my vote goes to kobe bryant. he's the guy i would choose with the game on the line. kobe rises to the occasion better.

I guess i would go with kobe simply because when hes into it he can stop a guy pretty well defensively...its not that hes better offensively...i would probably give that to TMAC but when you consider all around you gotta go with kobe cause of the defense and the offense combined...

yeah, i'm right there with you. kobe is a tremendously talented offensive player and its hard to argue that there are better offensive players than him. but mcgrady could just be that player.
but kobe just has the magic and flare about him that puts him just above mcgrady as a player. mcgrady is just missing that "thing".

Both are very gifted players, but TMAC lacks heart, so far in his career. Kobe just puts in more effort to win.
