I also will be a little surprised if DA doesn't go big or for a big SF. Drafting 3 small guys 3 years in a row would be odd, especially if he can get Sarunus, a (cheap) veteran FA, or a decent 2nd rounder. i don't think there's a pressing need for it when we haven't seen how Delonte or Marcus does in the summer league or their 2nd and 3rd season. We as Cs fans forget what it's like to see a PG develop cause it hasn't happened in Boston in forever. We shipped out C Billups before he matured. We may not want to do the league another favor. Although I do think to a certain extent DA will draft for best available regardless.

My short list of "would like to haves" is (in no order):
>Graham >Diogu >Charlie V >Ukic >Jack
@ number 18, I am thinking will be able to draft one of those 5 guys.

And I'll be surprised if we don't like who DA picks. Maybe not at the moment. But after he gets to playing.

NBADraft, HoopHype, and Inside Hoops all have Cs p;icking Ukic at 18. Draft Com has Warrick.
NBADraft has Cs picking Dijon Thompson of UCLA at 50, Draft Com has someone named Ian Mahinmi, a 6'10", 18 year old center from something called STB International.
NBADraft has Cs picking at 53 someone named Angelo Gigli, a 67'10" forward from somewhere. Draft Com has them picking Nate Robinson.

Celtics17, I think you are going to have to settle for Diogu, who I read has a wing span of 7'4. Let's draft this guy.

I do like wing-span! ! ! The key thing being foot-work and timing to keep up with the wings.

Ever think Ainge could go with Blatche? I possibly think he might if Walker is going because he is a pf/c. I can see that going down too.

I'll be surprised if DA doesn't go big. If he goes big, I see a trade up...

Yep- It might be at a lesser cost than PP. Maybe a Banks and a first in 2008 / or Banks and the 18th this year. Bartender?

Danny should still move Pierce anyways even if this deal doesn't involve Pierce.

If Pierce gets traded it won't be for a lottery picks (if any). I expect to either receive 2 quality players or 1 semi All-star if anything goes down.
