Hey, if this guy turns out to be a fantastic player in the NBA (especially if he ends up playing for us), you can consider yourself to be the one of the first guys--if not the first guy--to bring his name up. Just like saying you discovered Michael Jordan. This could be your claim to fame, BC ;D

Well, if the Lakers fall on their faces, and the Cavs do too, we could have 2 lottery picks next year. Who knows.

Yeah, the guy is flashy. He's got some creativity running through his body. But I gotta wonder how many of those passes will get deflected or stolen in the NBA. And I'd say 90% of his dribble penetrations ended up on the right side.
But considering the guy is only 17 years old, he's pretty impressive as a playmaker. Definitely the european version of a young Jayson Williams (in his Sacramento days).

Sergio does look good no doubt. Huh? Danny doesn't have the lakers and cavs picks both does he? I still have no clue which one management dealt to get Walker. Was it next years celtic pick? Was it the cavs pick? Was it the laker pick? Now I'm hoping it was the laker pick because Phil is back there now and they may not be a 25 win team. More like 41-41 while cleveland can be way lesser.

If I understand the trade correctly, we owe the Hawks the worst of our 1st round picks. Since I don't think the Lakers or the Cavs will do better than us next year, we'll be surrendering our pick to them.

If I understand the trade correctly, we owe the Hawks the worst of our 1st round picks. that's exactly how it is! and all the picks are lotto protected until 2007 when we have to give our worst pick - lotto or not

The laker pick goes 41-41, lets say clevelands is 30-52. Those are still good picks. I wonder if its lottery protected also assuming the lakers and cavs make the playoffs. Its lottery protected on the lakers end and top 5 next year I think. It could just be the worst one. Anyways, Danny can still let Walker go for nothing and get a pick back that could be lottery material with dealing Pierce so its like that pick to get Walker was never traded.
