I have something similar to ADD. How Tony Allen is described reminded me of how I was as a player also. I got Rodman/Laimbeer comparisons overall. Even as a human being in the world. I was a defensive player but sometimes lost focus in an unfamiliar situation or plays I had trouble running and putting my body in position for. Sometimes I tried dribbling it up high but I always got it taken from me cuz a lot of other guys were 5'9 guarding me. Like Allens description if the team lets him go, had I had the right coaching, I coulda made the varsity team and a possible college roster. I'd probably be an undersized 4 though. I can catch and shoot sometimes, move around like a sf to get into position. With my condition, some things can also get messed up like that dentist you mentioned ferbo. He can be intelligent and all but if he has a condition, he might every so often make a bad decision. I know what its like. Its like having all the right ideas and understandings but not following through on some.

MJ - perhaps you are a passionate person, but get frustrated easily. Unfortunately, team sports require the "team" to move you along, which includes the coach. Everyone has limitations, but all limitations can be improved. ;D

My HS basketball play drew comparison to Refrigerator Perry.
Or whoever was his equivalent back then.

In thinking about letting go a kid or holdign on, I am reminded that Cs held on to KBrown for awhile. Ultimat3ely he proved not much. Wonder if the kid had the work ethic? the smarts?

And much more.....

Kedrick's main downfall is his inability to gather enough confidence to do anything on the court. He's got athletic gifts, but he has little basketball smarts. Did you see how quickly Ainge got rid of him? Took him very little time to see that he had nothing to offer other than athleticism. Traded him away to Cleveland for Jumaine Jones. That's what I like about Ainge--he can see not only talent, but your overall skill set and basketball smarts. He wouldn't have traded away Joe Johnson to Phoenix.

AInge would have NEVER dealt JJ. Chris Wallace was a short run type guy. Only out to win for the present. But I still didn't get it because our team still won with a young Joe Johnson. I don't feel Rodney changed our team much at all. He was just a bigger body. He shot ridiculously also. Getting to the ecf was a fluke I thought. Had not for Boston having homecourt vs Philly, they wouldn't have won that series. Detroit had Stackhouse and other scrubs they got rid of by now. No Prince or Rip or even Chauncey. Atkins and Stackhouse was their backcourt then. We just got lucky that yr lets face it.

Ferbo - hopefully you didn't do the "super bowl shuffle" after scoring a basket. ;D
