Im 23 and I grew up in billerica. I lived in chelmsford from 15 to 22. Rival towns I know lol.
Derren, I know youre in hawaii but where did you come from originally or 2 places even that you may of lived for awhile in mass?
as for anyone else?.......

hello fellas. my name is derren matts. i was born on a tiny rock called oahu, hawaii and i have lived here all my life. i'm a '77 born, making me 27yrs. old.
places i've visited in my lifetime include: most of the other islands around me, las vegas, california and okinawa. i'll be visiting boston at the end of the month and i plan to visit scotland in the future (tiny bit of scot in my blood).

I'm 25 in 2 weeks (1979), born & raised in Antwerp Belgium. Places i've visited: Scotland, England, Finland, Sweden (1 day), the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Luxemburg, Czech republic & Estonia. I went on a holiday to the USA 3 times: westcoast, eastcoast & midwest. Technically, i've been in Mexico too but only for a few hours.

hey don't forget that discoverers and adventurists of old used to travel by ships, which took them months, maybe years, to get to their destinations. and prior to that, people from belgium used to swim across vast oceans just to taste the coconuts and pinapples of the hawaiian islands  it'll only take you about a day to get here. so pack your bags and head on over here. you can stay over at my place as long as you have your Celtics Green membership pass with you ;D never leave home without it.

my names John, i'll be 23 in September. I was raised in the Yay (Bay Area) currently live in Frisco. My dad and his family live in Framingham, i consider that my second home, tho I aint been there in a minute.... I've been all over the country. Been to Mass the most, also been to New Jersey, NYC, Upstate NY, PA, DC, VA and Chicago... been to Hawaii (Honolulu and Maui)

uh yeahm west of Framingham is upstate NY... at the same time... west of Boston is upstate NY.... Framingham is 30 minutes outside of Boston.... 22 minutes if my uncle is driving.
I never lived in either PA or Upstate NY... i just said Ive been there... this thread kinda turned into "where have u been" so i listed the places I have been.
I hated both, but it was a vacation, so that was nice...
I will never like PA because I hate the Steelers... and I hate Bill Coward...
Both places are too damn hot and have too many damn Misquito's. You cant go outside because u sweat, and when u sweat, the Miquitos attack... so until they come up with a way to make it so human's don't sweat in 110 Degree temp... upstate NY and PA both will suck to me.
In Sacramento, it gets really hot... Summer time is about 116 mid day and at night its about 108... but there arnt millions of insects eating at your flesh, so its more tolerable.
For me, its either California or Boston.

you are actually right. that's what the majority of local sports fans are like here in hawaii. but i've always been a little different from everyone. i have always followed east coast teams. for all the major sports, my teams are from the east coast. if i had to choose between visiting the west coast or east coast, i'd choose east coast without a thought.
watching good will hunting, i felt a sense of belonging/closeness with those guys.
maybe i was meant to be born a bostonian.

Most like nascar, hunting and ATV'ing. I havent been to upstate NY in awhile. Im looking to move out of PA. I could be out soon anyways. I hate the steelers too. All of the area people are so into the steelers. All I see is black and gold here its crazy. Who is Bill Coward? |
