Who can forget him skipping across the floor in the first game after the trade, or the celebration after they beat the Celtics in Minnesota? Or better yet, who can forget him sulking in Boston and mailing it in? Blount is now the starting center for Miami and about the only time he comes to play is to try to show up his former team. Perk needs to play him tough and let him know that we haven't forgotten.  vs  Paul Pierce vs Ricky Davis There were rumors of clashes between Paul and Ricky when they were teammates. I am sure that Ricky's celebration after their win in Minnesota is still fresh in Pierce's mind and he will want to be the one celebrating this time. Keys to the Game 1. Don't play Down to Their Level 2. Keep Up the Tough Defense 3. Put Them Away Early Game Notes: The Heat are just 6-30 on the road and are 2-8 in their last 10 games. The Celtics are 31-6 at home and 7-3 in their last 10. The Heat are 6-38 against the Eastern Conference while the Celtics are 32-10 against the East. The Heat have lost two in a row while the Celtics have won two in a row. Ricky Davis needs just 18 points to hit 1000 points for the 6th consecutive season. The Heat are either tanking for a better draft choice or they have had terrible luck with injuries with 7 on the injured list. The Celtics really don't have anything more to prove but I expect them to finish the season strong to have momentum going into the playoffs. I also expect to see the bench get more minutes to give the starters more rest and to give players like Tony, Sam and PJ more confidence going into the playoffs. |

This is one of those games I have little interest in watching. I don't want to see the Celtics play 2nd rate teams like Miami. Some how, this can be a big let down game. I don't want to pull a Laker and lose to a bottom feeder on my home court.

I feel the same way, I have mild interest in the Washington game, but other than that all I care about is officially clinching home court and getting through 10 meaningless games without injury. |

That's the big one afceltic. We don't need any injuries going into the playoffs. I hope Doc uses this time to get Tony lots of playing time along with PJ and Baby and Leon and Sam.

at the half, I expect no one of the starters to play in the second half

I'm sorry guys living down here and wacthing them win the championship and then 2 years later become an expansion team is great. I told everyone once SHAQ left those frontrunners would leave. You guys should see these heat games, the lower bowl looks like a florida marlins game. I hate Pat Riley and Shaq, so for me this is very enjoyable.
The only thing that stinks tonight is that im getting the Heat Broadcast. We need to jump on them and let the reserves get some action. Easy win.

I love how Posey stands at mid court and gives each starter a hug and tells them each something different each game. Perk wins the tip. Pierce heads to the hoop and is fouled. Celtics in bound on the side. KG misses a jumper and Quinn rebounds. Heat lose the ball out of bounds and they call it Heat ball. Heat turn the ball over as Quinn takes it baseline and loses the handle. RA hits a short jumper. Heat miss and Celtics rebound. RA misses from the outside and Ricky rebounds. Heat miss and rebound goes over the backboard to the Celtics. KG gets a pass inside for an easy layup. Quinn is fouled as he drives to the hoop. Quinn hits both FTs. PP misses a 3 on the 5th pass. Perk rebounds and passes out to KG. They swing it around to RA in the corner for 3. Blount misses a jumper. Celtics rebound. RA drives down the lane and lays it in. Time out with Celtics up 9-2 and 8:49 left in the first

Celtics turn it over. Heat turn it over. Rondo misses a jumper. Perk rebounds and kicks back out to Rondo who hits a jumper from the same spot. Ricky misses and Perk rebounds. KG has it slapped away out of bounds. Celtics inbound with 9 seconds. RA drives down the lane and goal tending is called. Perk called for a foul as he clobbers Blount to prevent the layup. Blount misses both FTs. KG rebounds. Perk called for 3 second violation. Quinn hits a fall away jumper. Perk can't handle the pass but it goes right to KG who hits a jumper. Quinn misses and Perk rebounds. PP hits a 3 off the catch. Quinn misses and the rebound goes out to RA. Celtics turn it over. Heat miss and rebound goes out of bounds to Boston. Powe comes in for KG. PP misses a layup. Powe grabs the rebound in traffic and lays it in. lasme misses and gets his own rebound. 24 second violation on the Heat. Rondo gets into the lane and hits a runner. Heat turn it over. PP misses a long 3. Lasme grabs the rebound. Perk blocks Lasme's shot. Rondo hustles to save the ball and bounces it off the Heat as he is falling out of bounds. Tony comes in for RA Time out with Celtics up 22-4. 2:55 left in the 1st.

Tony drives down the lane and lays it down for Leon who dunks it. Heat miss and get the rebound. They miss again and Powe rebounds. Perk gets the ball inside and lays it in. Ricky hits a jumper and is fouled. He hits the FT. Celtics turn it over. Heat hit a 3. Sam misses a jumper off the catch. Powe grabs the rebound. Posey hits a 3. Sam called for a reach in foul. Quinn hits the first and misses the second. Powe rebounds. Posey takes it to the hoop and misses a layup but Baby comes down the lane for the tip in. Ricky is fouled by Tony on the shot. Ricky hits both FTs. Celtics inbound and the quarter ends. Score at the end of 1 Celtics 32 and Heat 13.

Heat inbound to start the second. Quinn takes it down the lane and misses a layup. Powe grabs the rebound. Baby can't handle the pass inside and the Celtics turn it over. Powe called for a foul. Heat inbound on the side. Posey called for a loose ball foul, his first. Ahearn gets Tony in the air and draws the foul. Ahearn hits the FTs. House loses the handle and then recovers and is called for a travel. Heat turn it over. Posey drives down the lane and kicks out to House in the corner who misses a 3. Heat rebound. Ahearn misses a 3. Rebound goes out off Heat. Powe misses a jumper. Heat rebound. Quinn misses and House is called for a foul on the rebound. Heat inbound on the side. Johnson called for a foul on Powe. Mike Gorman was laughing that after Johnson shoved Leon he backed up so he could see the name on the back of Johnson's jersey as if to say "who is this guy?" Celtics turn it over on a bad pass that Sam couldn't get to. Posey called for a foul. Time out with Celtics up 32-15 and 8:57 left in the half

Heat rebound. Offensive foul as Sam takes the charge. Sam drives into the paint and hands off to Powe for a layup and foul. They finally went to the hoop after settiling for outside shots the first part of the quarter. Powe misses the FT. Heat rebounds. Davis misses a jumper Powe rebounds. Powe gets the ball on the baseline and is fouled. the first goes in and out. Second one rattles in. Ricky Drives into the lane and his pass is picked off. Sam hits a jumper. Johnson hits a jumper. kicked ball called. KG comes in for Baby with 6:03 left in the half. Sam hits an off balance 3 on a feed from KG. Posey called for a foul. Time out called and 5:42 left in the half

Johnson hits both FTs. RA back in. RA misses a 3. Powell rebounds. Heat miss from the corner. KG gets the weak side rebound. Powe takes it right at Powell off the pick and roll and is fouled. He hits both FTs. Heat miss and KG grabs the rebound. Powe has it blocked and is fouled but no call. He gets the rebound and then has it knocked away and is fouled again but no call. Powe called for a foul. Johnson misses the first. Perk replaces Powe. he hits the second. KG takes it hard to the hoop and is fouled. Picking up with Celtics up 48-28 and 2:05 left in the half. Starters back on the floor. RA misses from the corner. Anthony rebounds. Quinn hits a runner in the lane. PP misses a 3. Heat rebound. Heat turn it over. KG shovels it ahead to Rondo who finds KG with a behind the back pass and he is fouled on the drive. KG hits both FTs. Ricky brings the ball up as Rondo denies the pass to Quinn. Heat turn it over. Celtics pass goes out of bounds to Heat who look for the final shot. Ricky holds the ball and RA is on him. He passes inside and they turn it over. KG misses a 3/4 court shot and Score at the half is Celtics 50 and Heat 30

Heat inbound to start the third. Ricky drives baseline and goes to pass but the passing lane is cut off and he comes down out of bounds for a turn over. KG misses at the SC. Perk tries to keep it alive and tips it 3 times but Heat come away with it. Blount hits a jumper. Perk gets it inside with nowhere to go and he kicks it out to Rondo who saves it from going out of bounds by passing over his shoulder and RA grabs it. Loose ball foul called on Perk. Blount hits another jumper from the top of the key. KG is doubled inside and he kicks out to PP at the top of the arc and he finds RA all alone in the corner for a 3. Powell takes it to the hoop for a layup. Rondo goes baseline and lays it in. Time out with Celtics up 55-36 and 8:58 left in the third

Perk with a block and Ricky with a block KG gets it and goes back up and is blocked from behind by Blount. Heat come away with it and miss and Perk rebounds. Rondo hits a runner in the lane. Barron tips in the Heat miss. RA misses a 3 off the catch. Heat rebound. Quinn takes it strong to the hoop and is fouled. He hits both FTs. RA tries to get it inside to KG and it is picked off. Rondo and Ricky chase it down. It goes out of bounds off Ricky. Celtics inbound with 6 on the SC. Rondo misses a runner in the lane and rebound goes out to the Heat. Quinn misses on the baseline. KG rebounds. Perk gets the ball inside from PP and he its a reverse layup. Rondo with a steal and he gets it to PP - to RA back to PP for a foul as he goes up for a layup. He misses both FTS. Perk with the rebound. He missed those as Dickerson was talking about how his FT shooting has improved this season. He said that his mother is the one who got him to change his mechanics to improve. He drives and is fouled again. He hits both FTs this time. Ricky drives to the hoop and kicks out to Blount who misses from the top of the arc. Perk tips the rebound to RA. PP hits a 3 off the catch making him the 4th Celtic in double figures. Heat miss and PP saves the ball in to Perk. RA misses a floater in the lane. Heat rebound. RA called for a foul. PJ comes in tor KG. Quinn hits both FTs. PP throws it away. Ricky takes it to the hoop and is blocked by Perk who comes up with the ball. Sam hits a jumper. Time out with Celtics up 66 - 42 2:47 left in the 3rd
