They are showing videos of Baby playing football and just plowing over everyone. Baby misses the first and hits the second FT. Stuckey called for an offensive foul as Posey takes the charge. RA is in for Tony. KG takes it inside and spins on Johnson and is fouled. KG hits both FTs. Sheed misses a 3 and House tracks down the rebound. KG takes it to the hoop for a layup. Dixon goes for a layup and has it deflected and RA comes away with it. KG hits a jumper from the top of the arc. Time out with Celtics up 34-25. 6:32 left in the half

Pistons turn it over on a bad pass that goes out of bounds. McDyess ties up KG as he gets a pass. Jump ball. Pistons win the tip. Billups misses a jumper. McDyess rebounds. House called for a foul on the rebound. Pistons inbound on the side. McDyess misses RA rebounds. Baby with a nice pass inside to KG who lays it in. He was fouled by Sheed but no call. RA called for a foul. Rondo and Pierce come in for House and Posey. McDyess gets the ball as he cuts to the hoop for a dunk. KG backs into the basket and McDyess called for a foul. KG hits both FTs. Rondo with pressure in the back court as Billups brings it up. Wallace hits a jumper over Baby. Pistons steal the inbound pass and KG called for a foul. Billups hits the first. Perk comes back in. He hits the second. RA misses a pull up from the FT line. Pistons rebound. Wallace misses and Perk tips the rebound to KG. PP takes it into the paint and lays it down to Perk for a layup and foul. Time out with Celtics up 42-31 and 2:44 left in the half

Perk with a deflection and ball goes out off McDyess. Rondo brings the ball up. KG misses from the corner. Rondo battles for the rebound but it goes out to Detroit. Defensive 3 second violation. Billups hits the T. Pistons inbound with 15 on the SC. Hamilton hits a runner in the lane. Perk misses a hook shot over Wallace. Billups misses a jumper and Perk rebounds. PP hits a 3 off the catch. Billups drives to the hoop and Perk blocks the shot out of bounds. Pistons call time out with 1.3 left in the half. Pistons inbound on the baseline. Wallace misses a 3 off the catch. Score at the half is Boston 47 Detroit 37

Good first half..I hope we can finish it off..I don't expect the Pistons to score 37 points again in the 2nd half...They'll probably come out hot in the 2nd half just like the C's did in the beginning of the game...

Q at the half - This is basketball as I once remembered. Just an old school basketball game with two excellent teams going at each other. I would have to say that the Big Men are standing and being accounted for. Perkins has been stellar with his work on both ends of the floor. His defense on Wallace was outstanding - same with Baby and KG. And Perk finished off two nice pick and rolls from Rondo. Our backup PG is a concern because our offense stagnated and as a result, Detriot cut down a 12 point early 1st qtr lead. The Celtics held Detriot to roughly 35% shooting. Clean up the silly Turnovers and the Celtics have an excellent chance to win tonight.

Hamilton lays it on on the alleyoop from out of bounds. KG passes inside to Perk who is fouled by McDyess, his 4th foul. Perk hits both FTs. Perk called for his 4th foul as Hamilton pushes off but gets the foul call. Wallace hits a jumper. KG hits a jumper. Wallace misses a 3. PP and KG combine for the rebound. Billups at the line again hits both FTs. Hamilton again pressing Rondo as he brings the ball up. KG misses a jumper but Baby is there to muscle down a rebound and put it in. Billups once again drives to the hoop and is fouled by Rondo. It didn't look like a foul to me on the replay. He hits both FTs. Rondi takes it to the hoop and dunks and is fouled hard by Maxiel. He goes to the floor and looks dazed but is helped up by his teammates. Should have been a flagrant. He misses the FT. Pistons rebound. Wallace misses in the lane. RA rebounds and pulls up for a jumper. Wallace hits a turn around over Baby. Rondo blows by Hamilton and misses an up and under shot but is fouled. He hits the first. Posey comes in for PP. He hits the second. Rondo pressing Billups as he brings it up. Baby deflects the ball out of bounds. Pistons inbound with 10 on the SC. They miss and Posey rebounds. Prince takes it to the hoop and lays it in. Celtics miss at the buzzer and Score at the end of 3 is Celtics 69 and Pistons 67

I really dislike the Pistons. They push and shove and flop and get away with it. Billups has shot 15 free throws and about half of those were on flops.

Boy, the Celtics stunk it up really bad the last two minutes of the 3rd. That and Billups is getting to the line whenever he wants. We'll need the big'uns back in there and quic\kly.

And House shows why we signed Cassell...Poor way to end the quarter, i'm not feeling all that great heading to the 4th especially with Floppy Billups having more free throws than anybody and having his way with the refs...Perk/Rondo with 4 fouls...
