Q at the 2:00 minute mark - Boston finally has their seperation as the 14-0 Hammer Down Run has made this a blowout. The Clippers just don't have the energy right now. Credit the Clippers broadcast team for pointing out how Doc Rivers fired his staff last year and replaced them with Tom Thibadeaux, etc. Dufus DOc of last year had goobers on his staff. He has a real staff this year.

They showed Thibodeau on the sidelines yelling instructions and they said that he is constantly doing that. Maggette hits both FTs. KG is sitting on the bench with ice on his abdomen. Celtics miss and Clippers rebound. Thornton hits a jumper. Powell called for a foul off the ball. Celtics are in the penalty so Powe goes to the line. He hits the first and misses the second. Clippers rebound. Tony called for a foul. Maggette misses both FTs. Posey rebounds. RA misses a 3 and Clippers rebound. Maggette rolls to the hoop and lays it in. Dickau called for a foul. Rondo misses the first and hits the second. Clippers lose it out of bounds. House comes in for Rondo. Tony looking for the last shot. He drives to the hoop and kicks it out to House in the corner who misses a 3 at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Celtics 77 Clippers 57

The Celtics came to LA at the end of a long winding road.
They played a team that plays like a toad.
OK it's been a very long and tiring week.... and I never strayed more than twenty miles from my home.

Pistons won in Denver tonight so we need this one to keep pace.
Celtics inbound to start the 4th. Posey pulls up at the top of the arc and hits a 3. Tony blocks Maggettes shot and Celtics come away with it. Posey hits another 3. Thomas is fouled by Powe. He hits both FTs. Powe called for an offensive foul as he drives to the hoop. Thomas goes baseline and dunks. Powe drives to the hoop and is fouled. Time out with Celtics up 85-63 and 8:45 left in the 4th

Celtics continue to have a commanding lead and playing hard at both ends. Everybody is standing on the Boston bench cheering on the backups. Gabe Pruitt has taken the floor (UCLA alum).

Powe hits both FTs. Thomas gets the ball inside and lays it in. Pruitt pulls up nd hits a jumper. Powe with a block. Thomas tries a gain and draws the foul. he misses both FTs Posey with the rebound underneath. Powe draws a foul on Thomas. He hits the first and misses the second. Thomas rebounds. Maggette hits a fall away jumper. Tony called for a travel as he drives down the lane. Maggette misses and Celtics rebound. Celtics turn it over. House tips the pass away and LA will inbound with 17 on the SC. Baby comes in and is called for a foul. Time out with 5:51 left and the Celtics up 90-67

Clippers miss and Pruitt chases down the rebound. Celtics turn it over. Thornton is fouled on the fast break. He hits both FTs. Thomas called for a foul on Pruitt. Celtics inbound on the side. Celtics miss and Powe battles for the rebound and it goes out off LA. Pruitt misses a 3 and Clippers rebound. Pruitt with a steal. Ross with a steal at the other end. Thornton takes it in for a dunk. Pruitt hits an elbow jumper. Tony with a steal. He passes inside to Baby who is fouled by Thomas. He hits both FTs. Thornton drives and has his shot blocked. There is a whistle and timeout with Celtics up 94-70 and 2:53 left in the 4th.

He misses the first and hits the second. Powe is fouled and hits both FTs. Dickau with a great bounce pass into Powell for a big dunk and foul. He misses the FT and rebound goes out off LA. Baby spins in the lane and gives a fake and misses a layup. REbound goes out off Celtics. Dickau hits a jumper. Pruiit drives and kicks out to House for a jumper from the corner. Clippers miss and Powe rebounds. House hits a jumper. Dickau is on the floor and Baby is wrestling for the ball and picks up the ball and Dickau with it. Baby wins the tip. Pruiit hits a jumper from the top of the key. Dickau misses and Clippers rebound. Powell hits the first and misses the second. Powe rebounds. Pruitt dribbles out the clock. Final score is Celtics 104 Clippers 76.

Celtics played hard all the way to the end tonight and salvaged a 2 and 3 road trip. Would have liked to have gone 3-2 but oh well.
Celtics still have a fairly challenging schedule this week. Home against Cleveland - Wed,
Charlotte-Fri, and Atlanta-Sun. All three are capable of giving the Celtics trouble.

Dang, i fell asleep around the middle/end of 3rd quarter but i still got to see Pruitt play when i woke up in the 4th with like 8 min. to go! I went to school half asleep but anything for the Celtics...I even taped it in case i fell asleep..
