Celtics haven't scored this much in the 1st half in quite awhile. Pierce is playing great ball despite he's sick. Glad to see Ray Allen scoring a lot for two games in a row. Rondo is also doing really good.

Rondo needs to keep taking it to Lebron!! Maybe Lebron will cool down in the process of getting beaten on the other side...

Rondo quickly comes up the floor and stops and pops and hits a jumper. Hughes hits a 3 from the corner. RA steps out of bounds and Celtics turn it over. Perk with good defense on Z. He passes out. Newble misses a 3 at the SC and Cavs rebound. newble misses and Celtics rebound. Rondo drives to the hoop and is fouled by LeBron who is upset because he feels that Rondo caused the contact. I don't want to hear Tommy called a homer again because these announcers are whining about every foul also. Rondo hits both FTs. Rondo almost gets a steal. Ball goes out of bounds. Officials conferring about who gets it. They call it Cavs ball and Cavs inbound with 22 on the SC. Cavs turn it over. Rondo drives down the lane and lays it in. Jones misses a 3 from the corner. Cavs rebound and James misses a jumper. REbound goes off Perk out of bounds. Perk and PP come out. LeBron drives into the lane and is called for an offensive foul as Baby draws the charge. Rondo hits a runner in the lane. Baby called for a foul as he drive across the top of the arc. LeBron hits both FTs. Celtics inbound with 17 left in the half. Rondo drives to the basket and his shot is blocked by LeBron. His heave at the buzzer is no good. Score at the half is Celtics 66 and Cavs 64.

Good to see we're leading at halftime. How about Rondo, today?! Doing great. Hope he keeps it up in the 2nd half.

Ok this has been quite the offensive half by both teams, but Boston will need to really apply the D coming into the 3rd and slow down this pace a bit. We do not want to get into a back and forth lead changing shooting match. Its nice to see Rondo and Allen continue to up their games with the other guys being down due to various ailments. Nice to see Gooden in check. He had an above average game against us in the first meeting. And as usual, LeBron is carrying the Cavs. We cannot lose to a one man team again. I expect Newble to disappear after the half.

Celtics inbound to start the 3rd. RA misses a contested 3. Cavs rebound. Cavs miss and LeBron rebounds. Rondo called for a foul. Cavs inbound on the side. Lebron misses Z grabs the rebound. Hughes misses and Cavs rebound. Hughes hits a short jumper. 3 second chance opportunities. Celtics miss and Cavs rebound. Z called for a travel. Scal hits a 3 off the catch from the top of the arc. Holding foul on Baby. Cavs inbound on the side. Gooden hits a jumper. PP drives across the top of the arc, turns the corner and drives to the hoop and is fouled as he gets into the paint. Somehow, the Cavs get the ball while they are showing how Newble got stitchs in the first half. Z misses a jumper but Gooden flies down the lane and dunks. Gooden comes up limping and RA misses a jumper. Newble rebounds. Time out with Cavs up 70-69 and 8:45 left in the third.

RA with a steal. Scal drives down the lane and has is stripped. Cavs miss and Celtics rebound. Announcers are whining about Z being held by Scal. Baby gets the ball inside and lays it in. Scal with a steal as Newble drives. Scal called for a travel. Hughes gets the ball inside and hits a hook shot over Scal. PPdrives to the hoop and lays it in and is fouled. He hits the FT. Gooden has a groin strain and won't return tonight. Newble scrores around Scal. Baby drives and misses a layup. Cavs rebound and LeBron takes it hard to the hoop ans lays it in. Scal has it poked away and a foul is called on Marshall. Celtics inbound on the side. PP gets into the lane and lays it down for Davis who hits the layup and is fouled. he hits the FT. Z hits a jumper. Rondo drives to the hoop and misses a layup and Baby plows over Rondo as he flies in for the tip in. Marshall misses on the baseline and Z tips it 3 times before being fouled. He hits bith FTs. PP walks the ball up the floor. PP misses a jumper. Gibson rebounds. Hughes is fouled as he drives. He hits both FTs. PP turns it over on a bad pass inside. LeBron misses and Marshall gets the rebound and is fouled. He misses the first. Hits the second. Posey misses a 3 and rebound goes out of bounds to the Cavs. Marshall misses from the corner and Rondo leaps for the rebound. Jones with a loose ball foul. Perk hits both FTs to cut Cavs lead to 2. Jones is fouled by Posey. . He misses both FTs. Perk rebounds. RA with a touch pass inside to Perk who lays it in without lowering the ball. LeBron hits a tough fadeaway jumper. RA drives down the lane and lays it in. Hughes hits a jumper from the top of the key. Rondo hits a long jumper but Perk is called for a foul under the basket before the shot. Time out with Cavs up 87-85 and 2:01 left in the 3rd.

Celtics turn it over on a bad pass and Cavs look for the final shot of the quarter. LeBron called for an offensive foul as Tony takes the charge. Celtics inbound with 4.7 left in the quarter. Rondo drives to the hoop and misses a layup at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Cavs 92 Celtics 87

(I refuse to call a grown man Booby). Gibson hits a 3 from the corner. Lebron with a steal and RA called for a clear path foul as he reaches out to try to get the ball back. LeBron hits the T. Cavs inbound at midcourt. Tony called for a reach in foul. Cavs inbound with 14 on the SC. Z misses a jumper PP rebounds. Powe spins to the hoop and his shot is blocked by Z. Cavs turn it over. Tony drives into the lane and lays it in and is fouled. He hits the FT. Celtics back within 3. House with pressure on Gibson as he brings the ball up. Tony called for a foul on the perimeter. Rondo hits a jumper to pull to within 2 again. LeBron drives and travels before hitting a jumper but again no call. Rondo drives to the hoop and draws the foul on Z. The announcers are whining again saying that Rondo initiated the contact. Time out with Cavs up 110-106 and 1:48 left in the 4th
