This will be a tough one to pull out..A Lot rides on how quick the refs will give a cheap foul to Rondo for his 5th...Pierce/Ray really gonna have to lead us through..Powe, Rondo, Pierce, Ray, Posey, Perk have been nice, and Scal's even been alright tonight..

The Celtics won that game with tough nosed attacking defense. That was a great game to watch for those of us that love tough D.

they made several critical stops at the end that were amazing. Great defensive effort. Great job by Pierce carrying us at times, and Rondo at attacking and Powe working hard and gettign the cleanups.

Very nice win and great defensive effort in the final few minutes. I thought we might have lost the game when up 90-88 and failing to score on three straight possessions, the Powe fouls out and puts Dirk on the line to tie the game. But what a heads-up play by Rondo to get the game-winning basket, and Surferdad said, very clutch play by Posey down the stretch, plus T. Allen played good defense in altering Terry's shot, with Posey promptly snatching the defensive rebound. It's very nice to get solid contributions by so many different players. Too bad we're just a three-man team.

For all the hacks who said these Celtics couldn't win without KG in the line up, you can kiss our collective backsides!! That said........GET WELL SOON KG!

Well, I'm sort of in that group ;D, but I made the comment when it was still uncertain whether both KG and Ray would be out.

Well, I'm sort of in that group ;D, but I made the comment when it was still uncertain whether both KG and Ray would be out. I am also in that group, but by all rights we shouldn't have won this game. That is what makes this such a great win. The weak bench talk needs to stop now. IMO the two weak links we have on the bench is Scalascrub, and Tony when he is asked to play the point. And when KG is healthy the scrub is eliminated. In other words, I really like our bench right now.

I think the term 'weak bench' needs to be re-stated to 'weak Center depth and PG depth'. We are solid at the wings (Posey, House, Tony) and our depth at the 4 spot is being held together, for now, by Baby, Powe, and Posey.
Come playoff basketball, these two debatable areas will be magnified.
