Powe's got some range!!..Man, Rondo-Tony-Powe were our Big 3 tonight..Powe was the Garnett of this team and Rondo and Tony were the slashing duo..Great stuff...

Celtics inbound on the side and Powe takes it to the hoop and lays it in. Heat miss and Powe grabs the rebound. Powe hits a jumper. Barron hits a jumper. Final score is Celtics 117 and Heat 87. POWE is the PLAYER OF THE GAME!!! With RONDO A CLOSE SECOND!!! They showed that they are much more than the three stars and our bench is a lot better than given credit for.

Good stuff all around. nice to see the young guys lead us to a win. Miami is terrible but I liked how we were aggressive and slashed relentlessly.

The thing I really liked about this win is it shows we aren't just a 3 man team. This just goes to show we also have a bright future. We have 5 or 6 young guys in Rondo, Perk, TA, Powe, Davis, and Pruitt who are all going to continue and grow and get better. Pierce is still pretty young and KG is an athletic freak who could play for a long time still. I like our young core and we can continue to build around these guys.

It's gonna be interesting to see how this lineup fares against the Mavs...

I'm guessing RAy and KG come back well rested for that one.

Tony Allen is so MADDENING!!!!!! He puts together a gem like tonight but will buttress it with a couple of 4 point 3 turnover games. I can't make up my mind whether or not to give up on this kid and send him on his merry way for a veteran PG. Either way he played a heck of a game tonight as did Powe and Rondo. Even though it was the Heat, If I had said the the C's would be playing tonight without KG or Ray Allen and Pierce would only score 7 points, how many of you would have put money on the C's to win let alone make it a laugher? I sure as hell wouldn't have.

Fin, don't give up on Tony. He's got the talent to do this routinely, but you are going to have to live with his bad nights as well. Yes he is maddening, but when he's on, he's a threat at every facet of the game.
But with that said, I think his inconsistencies will be what keeps him from being on an All-Star team. The talent is there, but the focus isn't.
