Terrible 3rd quarter for the Celtics. Hope they can get it to gether in the 4th. We allowed them way too many open 3's

Poor Rondo getting beat up out there. Magic being very physical and giving out some hard hits. Nice to have Posey back. He is playing well. Doc has got to keep Scal on the bench. He just isn't adding anything to this game.

I hate it when Doc goes to small ball ... We should have 2 rebounders in there. Love that Powe is fighting for every rebound but he needs help. Should have Perk or BBD in there with him

I don't' care about the win, it was a stupid prayer by Hedo..Without Garnett against the Magic(a "supposed" big team in the east) and no calls(Hedo pushed off Pierce for his shot at one point and Powe getting NO love) and yet it takes them a lucky (censored) prayer to beat us..I'm happy we put up such a fight..Rondo gained his confidence and Ray was clutch as (censored) and Powe was great, Pierce played great and we just showed how good we are..With Garnett we would've won easily IMO..He adds the toughness that we needed against Howard..
Oh yeah, the win would've been nice too ;D

The refs were terrible both ways, but there were 3 non calls that changed the game. Powe was battling on the offensive glass and got two rebounds and was fouled at least 3 times and maybe 4 as he missed the put backs. They were hacking at his arm. Hubie Brown mentioned it. Then, with Powe on the floor because of the foul, the Magic went down the other end for a dunk. 4 point swing. Then, when Howard took a swing at Rondo, he should have gotten a T. That would have been a point for the Celtics and the ball. Instead, they ignored the swing and gave the ball to Orlando. That was a 5-6 point swing. And they ignored a blatant travel by Turkoglu with the ref right there, and gave him a basket and foul instead. Another 5 point swing. Those 3 non calls changed the game.

Even Hubie Brown was talking about how the refs were right there and didn't make the calls. They pointed out 5 fouls on Leon on that play. I only saw definite 3 and maybe 4. Then right in front of the ref, Turkoglu took 4 steps on the way to the basket. Hubie called that one too and instead of the travel Turkoglu got the hoop and foul. And Perk got a technical for looking at a guy and Howard can take a swing at Rondo in front of the ref and they give him possession?

We played well. It was a lame loss. We need to get back to rolling teams though. We've been playing .500 ball for a few weeks now. Hopefully we can end the 1st half on a positive note and start rolling over teams again after the break.
