picking up with 3:31 left in the 4th and Minnesota up 82-79. Garnett went to the locker room after coming down on one knee and coming up limping. Brewer hits a jumper from the corner. PP drives and is fouled twice and no call. Finally the refs call a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. Rondo drives and kicks out to RA who passes on the outside shot and drives in for a finger roll. Gomes misses and RA rebounds. He misses a 3 and rebound tipped around by Perk and Al. McCants rebounds. Time out with Minnesota up 84-81 and 2:19 left in the 4th

KG is back out of the locker room and coming back into the game. He has an abdominal strain but is going to give it a try to finish the game. Wolves inbound on the side with 18 on the SC. Telfair drives to the hoop and lays it in at the SC. Poor defense by Rondo. PP is fouled as he goes into the lane. PP at the line hits both FTs. Lead is back to 3 with 1:49 left. Crowd chanting defense. McCants misses and Big Al grabs the rebound. Wolves with a fresh 24 and a 3 point lead. Gomes misses and KG rebounds. Travelling called on Pierce. Wolves inbound on the side. 53 seconds left. Al misses and KG rebounds. Time out with 37.5 seconds left. Minny up 86-83

Hopefully this is a wakeup call of sorts. We play much better when we just play. Minny is out there just playing hard where we are trotting and thinking way too much. Perk is the only guy doing damage because he's just playing mad. We haven't earned anything and we are playing like we have of late..... Hopefully our experience will pay off down the stretch but we need to get a little mad.

Celtics inbound with 17 on the SC and 37.5 left in the 4th. They are down by 3. Pierce gets it in to RA and PP gests it back. He takes it to the hoop and misses. KG rebounds and misses the put back. 3 tips no good and finally Pierce tips it in. Time out with 23 seconds left and Wolves up 86-85

Pierce inbounds on the side. Gets it in to RA. RA drives to the hoop and misses the layup but Perk is there for the rebound and put back. Time out with 16 left in the game and Celtics up 87-86. Just 16 seconds of defense. That's all I ask.

16.6 left in the fourth. Celtics up 1. Wolves can't get it in once again and take their last time out.

That would have been an embarassing loss if we lost it. We pulled it out, but hopefully this made our team wake up and get a little mad.

Celtics up 87-86. 16.6 left in the 4th. Wolves try one more time to inbound. Jaric gets it to Telfair. Al gets it with 10.3 on the clock and Perk gives the foul. Wolves inbound again with 10.3. Telfair gets it in to Al who is double teamed by Rondo and Perk. He passes it out and KG goes to the floor and pokes away the ball from Telfair and passes it ahead. Rondo chases it down. Celtics win 87-86 KG was walking around holding his jersey out very proudly. Lets just hope that KG's injury isn't bad.

To me it's kinda like a loss. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up signing one or two of the Wolves in free agency soon. It seems like a bunch of them should have their contracts up

We need to wake up. And yeah we could sign a few guys back this offseason, that's hte nice thing... Was it me or did Ray allen look like he was 80 years old tonight? I only watched the 4th quarter, but Ray looked terrible. His defense on Telfair was awful and offensively wasnt any better. If anyone looked like they were outyouthed it was ray allen. The energy level was pretty noticeable. Garnett and Pierce didnt look much better either. Perk was the difference.

Rondo scared me with his defense again..he's not putting any pressure on point guards latley and LETTING them go by him...Teams are just running pick and rolls over and over again all over us...We do need to wake up because we were LOLLYGAGING TODAY..that's not good  |
