The Celtics seemed to fall flat after playing wonderful basketball to get a 36-18 lead. Houston got their footing by being more agressive on the defense and rebounding front. The play was physical as the Celtics had foul problems at the Center position. After Pollard and Perkins fouled out, Doc had to use the closing lineup of Posey, Ray Allen, Pierce, Garnett, and Rondo. A short 4th qtr deficit was turned into a slight Celtics advantage through better execution at both ends of the floor to thwart an upset bid by Houston.
