No, I'm not saying its a bad thing. I'm just surprised to see that. If I was asked this question without knowing the answer, I would have said we're at the very least in the middle of the pack, but more likely in the top 10.
But to be at the very bottom of shots attempted per game and still be a top 10 scoring team--I just find that amazing. I guess its not a big deal for guys who play video games, but I'm not in that realm.

it is weird because you would think more is better, but the percentages are what really matter. It's the same for rebounding. The percentages are more telling. We are the top defensive team. And we are top 3 offensively. WE are 10th in pts but we are really a top 3 offensive team. Which is still room for improvement.

The thing you have to remember as well is we are blowing teams out so in the 4th quarter we are just holding teams vs really turning the jets on. If we were really trying to blow a team out we could score more, but then teams would start complaining we are running up the score.
If we ever get ina game where a team can score with us, I guarentee we will score a ton of points. But our focus is more on stopping teams and holding them below what we score. It's almost like the officials sometimes keep games closer on purpose too. Or we feel bad and we let the other team back into it. We get up by 20 and we are like thats enough.

Well, I mean the Suns take the 3rd most shots in games, but they still shoot a high percentage (tops in the league).
Lots of shots + high percentage = league leader in points.
But in our situation:
Least amounts of shots in the NBA + high percentage = top 10 in scoring
You would think that as little as we shoot, we wouldn't be in the top 10 in scoring. That's what I would have thought, anyways.

that is weird but what if you look at shots made. We should be up there i'm guessing.

That would be logical, right CF? But nope, it isn't the case. We are 22nd in the league in shots MADE per game. 22ND!!!!
Last in the league in shots taken per game + 22nd in the league in shots made per game
= 10th in scoring in the entire NBA
How does it add up, I just don't know.
It would make sense if we lead the league in free throws attempted and made per game, and if we were league leaders in three pointers shot and made per game, but we aren't. We are:
8th in the league in 3 pointers made per game 7th in the league in free throws made per game.
And I'm pretty sure we don't lead the league in fastbreak points per game either.
Pretty intersting, huh?

well I guess
22nd in shots
+ 8th in 3 pters made
+7th in ft's made
= 10th in the league in scoring?
Is the 22nd just two pters or all shots?

I think it encompasses all shots from the floor (3 pt, 2 pts, points in the paint).
