Hello guys. Good to ear from you. I wasn't worried about Perk missing this one, I think he should rest. Baby's doing a good job as usual and finally Powe getting some decent playing time. One thing I've been noting for several games is Big Baby's eficiency at the FT line. Your in Porto...most of my family in Portugal are in Porto and Braga, cool to see someone from there a celtic fan!...Anyway..Everyone seems to be sleepwalking out there EXCEPT for Big Baby who seems to be the spark keepin this team going...Dissapointed we didn't get to see anymore of Powe yet..Rondo needs to man up on defense and stop gambling on the steal and letting his man by..Pierce is playing a very solid game(offense and defense) Ray hopefully turns it on same with Garnett... Runrondo, nice to read some familiar city names from you like Braga and Porto. We'll catch up later! Hope we mantain our home record first 'cause this one seems quite open.

Perk has to stay as the starter because Garnett doesn't like to play center a whole lot..Big Baby needs to come off the bench to spark the second unit..

This team can pretty much do whatever they want at this point in the season.

Posey has been so damn good in the 4th quarter this season..Our bench is a lot better than what everyone thought it would be in the beginning of the season...

Perk and Davis are great compliments to each other. Both have great defense, but do different things, like you mentioned CF. Perk gets the blocks and rebounds, while Davis gets the offensive fouls and rebounds. Perk definitely limits the number of players cutting for easy baskets. But the edge goes to Davis on the other end. Glen can score and bullies his way to the hoop and gets the harm. Perk is foul prone as well and has trouble at the line. Whereas Davis makes his opponents foul. Plus Davis really crashes the offensive boards. If there was one thing that I wish the C's were better at, its second chance rebounds. Its such a tough call, but for the sake of Perks confidence and his defense, he starts with Davis coming in with the second crew.

Posey takes it down the lane and lays it in. Miller misses and House rebounds. Artest called for a foul as he goes for the steal. Time out with Celtics up 84-70 and 2:34 left in the 4th

WEll the thing is Davis can still play with the starters. It doesn't matter who starts. I think Perk is the better starter because of his defense. We dont need so many scorers out there to start the game. Davis comes in and gives us an offensive boost which is what the bench is for when the starters get a little tired. It takes the pressure off of them.
I think as the season goes Davis's minutes will increase and you will see Perk and Davis splitting time with the starting group. Davis will play more with the 2nd unit which will equal more minutes for Davis ie he gets like 25-28 and perk gets like 20-23. But Perk will start. Plus Pollard is in the mix for like 7-10 minutes a game. So each guy will get around 20 more than likely. But Pollard isnt going to play a lot of games, so it will work itself out. Pollard is basically a situational player for when we go up against Shaq or someone like that.

Yeah I agree. Another thing Davis does better is spread the floor cuz he has a jumper.

Rondo- Decent game..wasn't aggressive enough on someone who couldn't defend him and on defense he didn't really keep the man in front of him..5 assists was nice tho he never got to hit his little jumper
Ray- On and off...at one point he hit two threes in a row but he really was inconsistent and missed lots of open shots...nice alley oop to garnett tho..
Pierce- Great effort on defense and good job on offense..to me he played such a complete game..filled up the stat line too 26pts 6reb 4ast
Garnett- Pretty poor stats but he picked it up when it mattered most..that lockdown on hawes was brutal
Big Baby- Great game, player of the game easily..provided that spark when nobody wanted to play and was a force on the offensive boards..
Bench Good game by Posey though early foul trouble put him out for a bit House seemed to be cold but hit some nice threes..did decent on defense Powe..Shame couldn't get any more minutes..he played pretty nice in the short minutes he got..i really think him and big baby provided such an effort on the offensive glass... Scal- nice airball...and a steal... Tony Allen- not much stats..he made a nice move and shot with the shot clock going down

That pretty much sums it up RunRondo. It was a good effort. We were kind of off and on this game but really locked down defensively and hit some key shots when it mattered.

And it goes back to the fact that good teams sometimes come out with low energy and let lesser teams stick with them for 3 of the 4 quarters, but when it matters most the better team finally picks it up and blows them out of the game..used to happen to us but it's role reversal now!..
