The Celtics are still having problems with matchups with D-Wade and Shaq. The ball movement is not crisp and open shots aren't falling. Hopefully things will pickup going into halftime.

KG hits both FTs. Celtics with back court pressure. Perk with a block and celtics come away with it. KG hits a jumper from the FT line. PP called for a foul as Wade gets him to go for the fake. Wade misses the first. misses the second. rebound comes out to RA. PP drives to the hoop and passes out to KG on the FT line who hits the jumper. Wade traveled on the drive to the hoop. RA drives to the hoop and is called for a kicked ball. Mourning back in for Shaq. Wade hits a jumper over PP. PP spins around Wade and drives to the hoop and lays it in and draws the foul on Mourning. He hits the FT. Time out with Celtics up 42-37 and 3:36 left in the half

Thats a little better by the C's. Pierce and Wade are really going at it and Pierce is getting some decent play on Wade. Garnett has the hot hand while Ray Allen is struggling a bit out there. Lets see how the half finshes.

Heat inbound on the side. Ricky hits a 3. PP misses a 3 after good ball movement to get him an open shot. Perk with the rebound. RA hits a 3 from the corner. Wade leans in and draws the foul on PP, his 3rd. PP goes to the bench with 3 fouls and Tony comes in for him. Wade misses the first. hits the second. Rondo to KG and KG back to Rondo cutting down the lane for a layup. Haslem misses and rebound tipped out to RA. RA hits a leaner between two defenders. Crowd is waking up finally. Wade falls and turns the ball over. Rondo tries to save the ball and tries to throw it off Haslem but ends up throwing it off Perk. Ricky hits a 3 from the top of the arc. KG hits a turnaround jumper but it won't count cause they called a defensive 3 second violation as he shot it. RA hits the T. time out with 49 seconds left in the half and Celtics up 50-44

Celtics inbound on the side. RA hits a runner in the lane. Wade hits a step away jumper. Celtics looking for the last shot get a shot clock violation and Miami inbounds with 2.5 left in the half. Ricky misses a half court shot at the buzzer. Score at the half is Boston 52 and Heat 46

Q at the half - The Celtics are getting the better of the play but the Heat are far from finished. Ray Allen heated up and staked the Celtics to a short lead. The defense is tightening up even more forcing D - Wade to make tough shots over the defense because the ball is not moving for them. On our side the ball is moving better and we are getting better looks now.
Look for an intense 3rd qtr from the C's

Heat inbound to start the 3rd. Starters on the floor. Wade with a double dribble that doesn't get called and a pass inside to Shaq who lays it in. RA called for an offensive foul as he drives to the hoop. Haslem hits a jumper on the baseline. KG gets to the hoop for a one handed jam. Wade misses a jumper. PP rebounds. RA finds Rondo on the baseline and he finds Perk for a dunk. PP picks up his 4th foul as he reaches in on Ricky. Posey comes in for PP. Williams misses and KG rebounds. Rondo loses the ball out of bounds. Haslem misses and Rondo rebounds. He pushes it up the floor quickly Perk spins on the baseline and lays it in. Time out with Boston up 58-50 and 9:06 left in the 3rd

Celtics inbound with 12 on the SC. Rondo is fouled by Williams as he drives across the lane. Celtics inbound on the side. RA is fouled on the shot but no call. Heat grabs the rebound. Rondo holds Wade to prevent the layup. Wade hits both FTs. RA brings the ball up. He gets it to Rondo with 10 on the SC and Rondo drives and is fouled. Celtics inbound with 14 on the SC. Rondo takes it to the hoop and misses a layup Heat rebounds. Heat miss and Rondo rebounds. Perk with a pass to KG who hits a finger roll in the paint. Shaq hits a hook shot in the lane. KG with a hand off to Perk who lays it in. Wade's pass goes through the legs of Haslem out of bounds to the Celtics. Celtics turn it over on a bad pass by Posey. Parker misses and Perk tips the rebound out to RA. Perk finds Rondo under the basket for a layup and a foul. Time out with Celtics up 64-56 and 5:01 left in the 3rd

Rondo hits the FT. Celtics with a steal a give and go between Rondo and Posey and Posey finishes at the hoop with a dunk. Posey almost gets a steal. but a foul is called first. Heat inbound on the side. Parker hits a 3 from the corner. Posey hits a wide open 3. Ricky misses and KG rebounds. Rondo drives to the hoop and is fouled by Parker. but they called the foul on Perk... very questionable call since Rondo was very obviously grabbed on the drive. Time out with Celtics up 70-59 and 3:19 left in the 3rd

Ricky misses a jumper. Rondo rebounds. Posey misses a jumper Haslem rebounds. Wade gets to the hoop for a layup. Wade breaks up a pass and ball goes out off Wade. Perk and KG go out and Pollard and Scal come in. RA drives down the lane and hits a floater. Alley oop in to Ricky for a dunk. Celtics turn it over. Heat with a layup. Scal shoots an air ball and Heat rebound. Ricky misses a heave at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Boston 76 and Miami 65

PP gets the ball inside from Posey and lays it in. Haslem misses and Posey tries to save it but it goes off him. Heat miss and Posey hits a 3 at the other end. Wade gets down the lane and lays it in. PP drives to the hoop and misses a layup. He was fouled hard but no call. Heat rebounds. Cook misses and Celtics track down the rebound. Defensive 3 second violation on the Heat. RA hits the T. PP drives to the hoop and has it stripped. Ricky called for a travel. KG hits a baseline jumper over Mourning. KG blocks Mournings shot but is called for a foul. Mourning misses both FTs and Posey rebounds. KG's pass is tipped out of bounds. Time out with 8:52 left in the 4th and Celtics up 84-69

Rondo drives and puts up a layup and Perk tips it home but they call basket interference. no basket. Shaq misses and KG gets the rebound. Rondo called for an offensive foul. Posey comes in for Perk and Celtics go small. KG playing center against Shaq. Cook misses from the corner and KG rebounds. RA misses a straight away 3 and rebound goes out of bounds to Miami. Ricky to Shaq for a dunk. PP shoots an airball and HEat get the weak side rebound. Cook hits a jumper and lead is down to 4. Time out with 4:07 left in the 4th and Celtics up 86-82

Celtics inbound with 14 on the SC. Celtics turn it over on a sloppy pass. Wade gets away with palming but the House steals it. Posey misses a 3 and Ricky rebounds. Wade is fouled by Posey.
