PP hits the FTs. JJ is bringing the ball up against Pierce. Hawks miss and KG rebounds. PP misses a 3 and Hawks miss. Lue hits a jumper. Lue with back court pressure on Rondo. Horford with a partial block and Hawks come away with it. Childress lays it in off the curl and is called for an offesnsive foul as PP takes another charge. PP gets a Tommy Point for taking the charge. KG misses at the SC and Childress rebounds. Lue misses and KG rebounds. PP brings it up. Rondo misses again at the SC. Hawks rebound. KG with a steal. Hawks called for a foul and Celtics inbound on the side. Celtics not moving the ball like they were and are dribbling too much. KG called for a travel as he spins to the basket. Lue quickly brings it up. Hawks lose the handle and it remais Hawks ball. Rondo called for a foul on Horford. He hits the first. Tony comes in for PP. Horford hits the second. Scal pases up an open shot. Celtics turn it over. Hawks score on an alley oop. Time out with 2:42 left in the third and Celtics up 67-59. This one is far from over. Hawks are coming back and Celtics are playing sloppy. They are turning the ball over and not moving the ball like they should. Too much dribbling and not enough passing.

Celtics inboun and Tony brings it up. KG hits a turn around in the lane. Lue misses in the lane and KG rebounds. Tony misses on the baseline and Hawks get the weak side rebound. RA strips the ball and Tony saves it from going out of bounds and gets a Tommy Point. House hits a long 3. Hawks miss and Tony tips the rebound to Scal. KG gets the ball inside and is fouled. KG hits both FTs. Johnson misses and Horford tips it in. It was offensive basket interference but wasn't called. House misses and Childress rebounds but doesn't have time to get a shot off. Score at the end of 3 is Celtics 74 and Hawks 61

Lucky just jumped over Francona for a dunk during the time between quarters. Celtics inbound to start the 4th. KG gets the ball inside and passes out to Tony who hits an 18 foot jumper. Hawks miss and rbound goes out off Celtics. Williams misses a Dunk and House rebounds. House misses a jumper Horford rebounds. Blocking foul called on Tony. Williams hits both FTs. House brings it up against pressure from Lue. He stops and pops at the FT line and draws the foul as he hits the jumper. He completes the 3 point play. Tony picks up his 4th foul. Hawks inbound on the side. Lue hits a jumper. Lue with pressure on House as he brings the ball up. He gets it across and Johnson called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. KG hits a turn around jumper on a feed from PP. Childress misses and PP rebounds. KG's pass goes out of bounds off Hawks. RA comes in for Tony. Celtics inbound and RA hits a jumper. Blocking foul called on House Time out with Boston up 83-66 and 8:43 left in the 4th

Hawks inbound. Smith hits a jumper from outside. PP drives into the lane and kicks it out the House for a 3. Johnson hits a jumper. KG fakes and spins and hits a jumper. Smit misses a jumper and Scal tips the rebound to House. Hawks break up a pass and it goes out off Hawks. PP misses in the lane. Hawks rebound. Hawks miss and KG tips the rebound several times before he grabs it and tries to call time out as he is falling out of bounds but doesn't get it. Hawks inbound and get a jumper. RA draws a foul. Time out with 6:06 left in the 4th and Celtics up 88-72

RA hits the first and misses the second FT. Childress rebounds. Scal gets an elbow to the nose and goes down hard. He is on the floor and is dazed. His nose is swelling and Ed Lacerte comes out. The crowd is chanting Scalabrine. He is sitting up now he is standing and going back to the locker room and gets a hand from the crowd. Time out with Celtics up 89-72 and 5:51 left in the 4th

Horford misses the first FT and hits the second. KG is at center. PP at PF, RA at SF and House at SG and Rondo at PG. KG's fall away goes in and out. Hawks rebound. Hawks miss and KG rebounds. PP is called for a travel as he hesitates on a 3 from the top of the arc. Law hits a jumper. Hawks pressing in the back court. Rondo gtets it across. Rondo with a nice bounce pass in to KG for a layup. PP takes his 3rd charge as he draws the foul on Williams. Celtics inbound. House brings it up. RA drives to the hoop and lays it in. Hawks miss and Rondo rebounds. Stoudamire fouls Rondo on the break. Big Baby is coming in to a big hand from the crowd. KG goes out to a standing ovation. House hits a jumper. Hawks turn it over. Pierce comes out and Tony comes in. . Big Baby gets the ball inside and is fouled. BB hits the first misses the second. Hawks rebound. RA comes out and Pruitt is in. Pruitt hits a jumper on the baseline. Celtics with a steal and Rondo takes it in for a dunk. Tony forces a turnover. Powe comes in for House. Powe misses a jumper and rebound goes out off Hawks. Rondo misses from the corner Powe comes up with it and his shot is blocked. Hawks come away with it. Hawks get a layup and a FT. PP has his shot blocked but gets it back and dunks. Pruitt lays it in. Childress hits a 3. Rondo dribbles down the clock and passes inside to Big Baby who is fouled and hits both FTs. Hawks dribble out the clock Final score is Celtics 106 and Hawks 83.

Celtics will likely be without Scal tomorrow as well as Posey as word from the locker room is that he has a concussion.

The turnovers are a concern. I love the way these guys are playing, but they have to take better care of the ball. When they start playing against top tier teams 18+ turnovers could mean the difference between a win and a loss.

Good game. We looked more refined in our halfcourt sets tonight. Fin is right though. We need to take better care of the basketball. Our offense and defense continue to get better, we just need to keep working out the kinks. I liked how Pruitt looked when he got in there. He's going to be a player.
