I also think the Cavs aren't as strong as many think. They are old and slow, and quite frankly, without Lebron, no one would bother watching them play. I hope this convinces Lebron to leave town and seek "Green"er pastures.
Detroit and New Jersey are going to be contending teams in the east, but Jersey is starting to age and won't be there for long. In their place will be the Raptors.

Clev had a red carpet ride in the playoffs. Det is the team the Celtics need to focus on beating.

Detroit had a good win tonight vs. the Clippers (who was 4-0). They tallied 53 boards and 27 assists, and kept the Clips to 37% shooting. These are key stats to dominate, and a sign of a true contender.
We may not have many competitors, but Detroit certainly is one of them.

I still think Danny Ainge is looking for one more player and will use a combination of Tony Allen, Leon Powe, Gabe Pruitt, and maybe Scalabrine to pick up a veteran point guard and a big guy to help out in crunch time. That could tip the scales in our favor come spring time. The veteran PGs and big men name do not come to mind immediately.
