Biggest s urprise to me: how good a passer KG is.
Impression: Davis has moved ahead of Powe. He didn't look as heavy as I had anticipated. Good to see him scoring in the paint.
34 ASSISTS! Don't recall seeing such.
Pleasant: House and Posey's outside shooting.

Right Ferbo. Davis looks good. House, Posey and Davis should be our first 3 guys off the bench eventually. The other guys like Scal, Powe, Pollard, TA should be added assistance and should play regularly as well. That's pretty much our rotation right there. I'm thinking we send Pruitt and Wallace to the d-league and call them back if there is an injury where we need them.

I was at the game.... all i can say is KG = MVP.
BTW, Ilguaskas is big time wuss. I swear he cries foul every time he touches the ball.
Everyone looked good except for Scal but isn't that expected?

How can Scal play in this team anyway?

Signing scal was a bad decision, signing him for 5 years was even worse.
The guy needs to be dealt to a team like Golden State or dallas that will better fit his playing style.

Atlanta has too many Point Guards and Scal for Lue works in the trade checker. Lue is one of KG's best friends and he would love having him here.

I don't think it can be overstated how impressive the ball movement is with this team. The way these guys are playing right now is so fluid, they look as though they have been playing together for a couple of seasons. The defense seems to be a bit inconsistent at times, particularly during the first half. When they do commit to playing defense they are lock down. Even the bench looks like they will answer the majority of the question marks that were raised about their ability. Rondo has run the point very well in preseason, and House has been reasonable. My concern has been and still is who plays the 5 beyond Perk. Pollard is serviceable as a 5 when healthy, but he hasn't been healthy. With an open roster spot, I would like to see Boston go after a bruit big to play the 5.

The problem with trading scal is that he is the only big man we have that can hit an outside shot. Not that lue wouldn't a good pickup, but Scal probably helps us more. I know that sounds ridiculous and I'm talking about SCal, but if we were to trade him I'd hope we have another big man in mind that can hit an outside shot. All I'm saying is yes Scal does serve a purpose as ridiculous as it may seem. He's also a scrappy player and a decent defender... I know we all think Scal is useless but I've never had a problem with him really. His contract isn't great and neither is he, but doesn't really hurt you and he does some little things. Yes I'm defending Scal...
