C"s looked better as the game went. We are going to be a physical team. You could tell as we got more into our game we started to wear them out a bit.

Man, I didn't know that the game was going to be on NBA TV! I only caught the 4th quarter. Eddie House was impressive, as well as Big Baby and Leon Powe. I wish I could have seen the Trio (big ups to derren for this nickname) play, but it sounds like they all played well. I saw Paul, Rajon, and Perk's bald heads at the end of the game. They don't look too bad, actually.

Couple of things which caught my eye:
1. 20 assists. I thought that good for the first pre-season game with so many new people.
2. Perk had 3 fouls ini 23 minutes---we can live with that. Bargnani, by comparison, had 4 in like 14 minutes. Total fouls were kind of in line with regular-season NBA game. I'm thinking that with healthier foot, Perk's fouling will be down.

Someone mentioned that the Cs should win by 20. Disagree. With so many newe people, I'm satisfied with the win against last season's AC winner.

Yeah Toronto is a good team... it was kind of what I expected. We were unselfish to a fault at times. Our defense was like watching a pickup basketball game at times. Things got better as the game went though. I think we saw glimpses of what we can expect as the season goes. From what I see I think the ball movement will get better. I like how physical we are. Out offense isn't that complicated and it really shouldn't be. We are a talented team and we should be able to work matchups and just play smart and try to get easy buckets by pushing the tempo and playing solid D. The defense is the thing that is going to take time. I was really impressed with how much of a factor Garnett is on the boards. I knew he was a great rebounder but that was really different and nice to see us having a big guy that just owned the glass like he did. This also isn't a knock on Al or Gerald or any of the guys we traded, but it also was nice to see players that know what they are doing. You could definately see the difference between the young guys and having veterans who know what to do in certain situations, arent afraid to shoot it, trust each other, etc..

Does anyone know if KG logged any time at the 5 last night?
The 18 TOs---while not as high as in some games I've noted---was higher than we'd like in regular season games. But I think it not bad for first pre-season game with so many new people.
I didn't see any info on points in the paint. Altho I judge it is a little early to worry too much about that.
