When AW was with Boston, it was "his" team.
When he left, it became PP's team.
My thought is that the Cs are now Garnett's team. Probably not on opening day of pre-season, but somewhere in the first half of the season, at the latest.

I'd say it's Garnett's team as soon as they win some games that we wouldn't have won and as soon as the Garden crowd starts yelling "KG".

Still PP's team. As much as i love garnett, boston is a whole new territory as far as expectations and producing. PP has produced before under the pressure cooker of boston.
This will always be PP's team and his city.

In many ways, it'll still be Pierce's team, since he's been here his whole career. Garnett is a transplanted player, but I expect him to be the face of the organization. Around the league, this team will be looked at as Garnett's team. He is now the main show, the Big Ticket.

For the truly fans of Boston this is and will be Pierce Teams as long as he is a Celtics.

Agree with that KG will be the man for the league, but for me P34 is the leader of the team since he is in the team, and he will be until he play there

I think the team is lead by the big 3. When everyone is said and done we'll be talking about 3 Hall of famers not one individual great player.

Gotta go with JHVOS on this one. I really do not think it is one person's team. True Pierce has been here the longest.
I just think it's the Big 3's team. They are all important.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts!

I think Ray Allen will take a back seat, as far as he's ever been at any point of his professional career.
But as far as whose face they will show on commercials (tonight on ABC, Garnett's Celtics vs. Nowitzki's Mavs), I think it'll be Garnett's.

in four years it will be Rondo. Can you believe that?

The media will associate the Celtics with KG because he is the Big Ticket and the most talented all-around player on the team and possibly in the league.

in four years it will be Rondo. Can you believe that? Very well could be. If we don't have replacement star players in the fold when Pierce, KG, and RAllen are retiring, Rondo will be our best player. Heck, he's arguably the 4th best player on the team irght now.

KG. Pierce is a follower, not a leader.
