I agree. I need to get some sleep though. This team this year should be really fun to watch. I'm kind of excited. I like the makeup of this team a lot. We have a scrappy bunch of guys and an unselfish bunch imo and a talented bunch. I have this vision in my head of what things are going to be like and I'm excited for the season to start. We are going to be a hardnosed, fast, electric basketball team imo. With the guys we have now I don't really see what we don't have. We have defense ,offense, shooting, penetrators, passers.. We even have a guy with a ring in Posey. It's going to be good. Doc really if he blows this..... It's really on him to not screw this up.

Yeah, I hope to see smarter plays and a dash of uptempo basketball. It'll draw the crowd to its feet if KG, Pierce, and RAllen dash down the court, move the ball without it touching the floor once, and finishing with a crowd roaring dunk. Of course, it'll all be started by Rajon grabbing a defensive rebound and firing it upcourt.

That's the thing we probably have the fastest PF in the game in KG and the fastest pg in Rondo. I hope we run. Allen is an up tempo player as well. TA is a guy that can really help in that area as well. Pierce not so much but we have guys around him that should move the tempo. Pierce is a guy that takes it to the basket and thats all that matters. He's an aggressive player. And then we have scrappy guys in Perk and SCal and Pollard and Posey who will do the dirty work. Posey and House can shoot it off the bench as well. Same with Scal. We have a really good mix.
I don't expect us to be a running team night in and night out. I think during the season we'll see a lot of halfcourt basketball but come playoff time, I'd really like to see this team turn things up. this team has that in them. It's not going to be our bread and butter but like you said we will have stretches we can really just turn things up. Rondo is teh guy that is really key to those stretches. I really don't see how anyone is going to deal with Allen, Pierce and Garnett in the halfcourt either. Those 3 surrounded by a bunch of scrappy players and a quick pg is a good combination.

Someone on the team will be injured, so having 10-11 serviceable players will be ideal. Yeah, Danny did a great job picking just about every good role player off the scrap heap.

I think an even 10 man rotation would be suffice.
Perk/Pollard KG/Scal or Powe Pierce/Posey Ray Ray/TA Rondo/House
The rest will get spot minutes.
I do not think that the Big 3 have to approach 40 minutes. They won't need to with the other Big 2 and our better bench.
KG, Pierce, and Ray should be ok in the 35-38 minute/game range.

Hopefully, our entire roster will be playing at a high level that none of the Big 3 will have to play beyond 38 mpg. This will allow them to have fuel in their tanks in the playoffs.

If Doc was smart, he wouldn't play the '3' 40 minutes a game.

We still need to replace Wallace/Manuel with a pg and center.Imagine if Perk goes down.Pollard is there for depth not quality.Everybody is saying House is are backup PG.But how often thru his career was he cast in that situation? This team has the chance to be very special.A couple of more tweaks would only help.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Davis?
Will he atomatically go to the D League?
H ow will he compete with Powe?
Powe is a little short, but gritty enough, to play the 5. But Davis is bigger. Could he be a backup 5? He would add an offensive touch to the position which none of the others can do. Would KG at his side help him get b y?

Esteban Batista looks pretty good, atleast in the first half vs. the USA. He is a Free Agent too and he is only 23 (24 when season starts). He wasnt anything special on the Hawks and I know this is international play, but well Id like him a lot more than Pollard.b
