Posey is a darn good player. Not an all-star but helpful. This makes our swings pretty solid.

this is a championship run type signing. Ruben is nice, but Posey is better.
He will back up Pierce and Allen and may even see some time at the four depending on the lineup. Good signing. I really like it.
Now if those Dahntay Jones rumors are true I will be ecstatic. We still need a big tho.

And can you tell with what James Posey is better that Ruben Patterson
Ruben Patterson - 14,7ppg / 5,4rpg / 2,9apg / 1,4spg / 0,3bpg / FG% - 0,548% James Posey - 7,7ppg / 5rpg / 1,3apg / 1spg / 0,3bpg / FG% - 0,431%
Really can you tell where Posey is better than Patterson, I don't think so, but I'm happy that they make a move with something like this now we have a real solid wings, but whats up with the salary, Have we enaugh money to sign with Maichael Olowokandi or we are up

Right on, Danny. This is a good signing, as it strengthens our bench.
Posey will make a good backup wing player. He's a consistent player--night in and night out we'll know what to expect from Posey. Don't expect him to be an instant offensive player, or a big energy guy, but you can expect him to hold down the fort while Pierce or RAllen sit to take a breather. In Miami, he could have had better statistics, but he wasn't in there to make an impact on offense. He came in to compliment the defense. That should continue here as well. But if need be, he could turn up the offensive intensity and give us double digit scoring games.
I have more confidence in our bench with this signing. I was skeptical of the quality of our bench since giving up a big chunk of our roster for KG. But looking at Pollard, Scal, Posey, and House as our main bench cogs, reassures me that we have a stable bench, at the very least. It could turn out to be a good bench if they all fill their niches.
Signing Posey also allows us to take our time with Tony Allen. Doc won't feel the need to rush TA back into game form at the start of the season. Tony can progress at a bit more leisurely pace, work specifically on his game more on the side, and come back when he is totally recovered and ready.

If Redd, Simmons, and even Bogut and Williams were healthy all season his numbers wouldnt be that good. Earl Boykins and Charlie Bell also had pretty solid seasons, but I can tell you there a few guys with lower production that I would take over those two.

We definately needed a wing player to come off the bench. I don't anyone was expecting much from Wallace. It's weird because Wallace could be like Posey in a couple years and that's when Posey's contract will be done. Posey is a good player though. This is a nice signing. We've been missing our Bruce Bowen type of guy and Posey is kind of like that.

This team need's to start building chemistry, with all the new player's we have this year. I think Posey is a great P/U, a solid defender who can help out on guy's like L. James, V. Carter and the like in the east. Please give the patterson thing a break. Just say NO.

I really can't believe how negative some people are. I mean, do some people think we can fill this bench with all star's? Posey is a great pick up, it give's the C's the one of the best combo"s at the 2 and 3 in the NBA, to go along with the second best PF in the league. What else can you expect Danny to do in one off season? Geez, how about some positive thinking. We will have a chance to compete for the title for the next 3-5 years, would you have taken that last year, or the last twenty?

This is an OUTSTANDING signing. I never thought in a million years we'd have a shot at landing him. Posey brings energy, toughness, defense, championship experience, and he's a player who isn't afraid to lay a hard foul and knock someone on their butt. He's a guy you love having on your team, but hate playing against. Just wacth the reaction he receives from the chicago fans when will play them. It will be BOO'S all over, but posey thrives off of that negative attention.
More importantly we sget him from another eastern conference foe. Make no mistake this weakens miami which brings a huge smile to my face. I love it!!!!!!
