I think he'd be a nice Center option off the bench, but I'm not too optimistic if he's our starter.
What do you all think?

isn't he over the hill already? beside the fact that he never lived up to the hype pf being nr 1 pick. like olowjkjivhuiskjsdfhkfkandi. he would probably rot on the bench as well

He's 32 years old, so he's not ancient, and he's played surprsingly well when given playing time. Last season, with Philly, in 25 mpg, he averaged near 10 ppg and 7 rpg, and 3 years ago (the last time he played in more than 70 games), he averaged 11 ppg and just over 7 rpg.
Looking at his game log from last season, he finished the year on a good note, putting up 17 and 13 vs. the Cavs, and 26 and 11 against the Raptors.
Again, as a bench player backing up our Center position, I think he'd be nice. But I hope we aim higher and go for a more impactful Big.

He's pretty undersized for a center. Dude is more of a PF. But he would be a great guy for us to get. Dude is a hard worker and an awesome locker room guy. But what I dont get is why are we adding another PF? Is AlJeff going to play exclusively at the 5? I guess time will tell.

I also think he's more of a power forward and would rather give time to the Powes and Davises, and wouldn't want to pay him money, but I always liked him and he helped me win the fantasy league. His averages are a little inflated cause they gave him tons of playing time after Webber was traded.

Joe Smith isn't a bad option. He's a decent player. I'm hoping for more than that though. He's a good security plan if we can't get anyone else.

Joe should be option B. We need more size than he offers, but if all else fails he'd be a good addition to come off the bench and give solid minutes and not complain about his role. He could also play some C depending on whom he is defending.
not a 1st choice but not a bad choice if we can't do better. I think he'd offer some good chemistry and could be a good practice player for the young big men to learn from too.

Im pretty sure he is friends with Garnett, he went #1 in the 1995 draft and i think Garnett was #5 or #6.
Although he basically screwed the T-wolves organizations future he is a decent signing.

Our first option should be darko. I think he'll sign for the mid-level. His 10 million dollar a year demands are crazy. Only a few team had money this offseason, one was orlando and they've already struck quickly. Darko showed me he had some toughness against the pistons in the playoffs, even though they were swept. Danny is smart to wait and see what the market is dictating.

Smith used to be a SF actually. I understand now he is at the PF and I think it would be a good sign to back up Al.
