It appears that Yi is playing hard ball and will be forcing the Bucks to trade him away. I think Ainge definitely has an interest in him, but will he make a move to get him? I'm sort of afraid of who we'll lose if Ainge wants him here. Gerald Green (gulp)?

From what I was reading the bucks are saying they expect Yi to be there and that he is their property, since Yi chose to enter the draft, but who knows. I wouldnt be surprised if we make an offer.

If I remember correctly, either Steve Francis or Damon Stoudemire did the same thing when he was drafted, and he forced his original team to trade him away.
Yi could be pulling the same trick. I don't think its right that a player can do this.

If I'm the Bucks I'm keeping him. They traded away Dirk and that bit them. The only way I trade them is for an offer I can't refuse and if the Chinese government tried to put a gun to my head I'd still refuse.
What did I tell you about drafting Chinese players? Don't do it I said. Nobody said anything. I said it's not worth it, there are always strings attached. Who was right?

Yi wouldn't have pulled this stunt on us. We are one of his destinations that he would have played for. The Bucks aren't one of them.
The Bucks want to keep him. The problem is, Yi doesn't want to play for them, and will hold out until he's moved. Now its going to turn out to be a game of who will be able to stick to their guns the longest.

I wouldn't want a player that would pull that on anyone. Kobe is pulling it on LA right now. Players that pull that stuff will pull it on you.

Right, I don't like that players can pull this kind of stunt. I don't think its right at all that players being drafted can determine where they don't want to play. Remember that we went through the same ordeal.

I'd offer them GG and heavily protected first rounder for him.

Remember that we went through the same ordeal. Teams could end this if they just refused to accomodate it. If I'm the Bucks I'm just not trading Yi unless I get a great offer.

Yi will be a bust. When a player refuses to workout against any real players, must be hiding something.

Watching Yi in summer league, he is looking pretty good. Rudy Gay is looking great.
