With all the stress most Celtics fans are feeling toward this draft, we just didn't need that. I am hoping it will be a good omen for getting the #1 pick this time. As Pop said... if there is any fairness in this world, the Celtics will land the first pick in this draft.

I thought the blog was an interesting read. I am not concerned about the ping-pong lottery. Remember, Rick "I quit" Pitino said before the lottery that the Celtics would be starting w/ Duncan. Ainge/Doc have been quiet.

Hey there, FireDoc. All I can say is that this draft is stacked enough that even if we don't land a top 2 pick, we'll be in good position to land a player with a lot of value. Oden and Durant are our dream prizes. But Noah, Yi, and Brewer will also be players who will significantly add to our team.
