Perkins needs to figure out how to stay outta foul trouble so he can stay on the floor. I'm still waiting for the lightbulb to click with this guy. on the starting 5, he is the weakest link IMO.
HIs problem has to do with his size+injuries. If you're 280 lbs and you can barely move to begin with, teams will expose it by going at early because they know you cannot avoid them. He really needs to drop atleast 25 lbs in order to have some type of mobility. Otherwise, we're looking at spot-up defensive possession/situational starter in his future.

We need to start Perkins and Jefferson together next year (well provided that we do not get Oden). I really think they can form one of the Easts top big men batteries and give Eastern teams a lot of trouble. And that will open up the perimeter for shooters Wally Sczerbiak or Gerald Green. And give players like Allen and Rondo a lane to drive to the bucket.
