Our youth, inexperience, and coach have given us a few losses in spite of the efforts. The unit that started the last game had great chemistry and if Doc wants to win like he says he does, he will start that same lineup. But this is Doc, and West will probably move back into the starting lineup. I am keeping the same lineup out of wishful thinking.  Bench     Noel/Gadzuric/Boykins/Greer/Markota Notes: The Bucks have lost 6 in a row and without a doubt are in tanking mode. The Bucks are only 2 1/2 games behind us for the 2nd most pingpong balls. They have been doing their best to lose games and this game could be ugly. I have posted the same starters and bench from their last game but at this time of year, who can tell what a team will do from game to game. Keys to the GameWith the way the Bucks have been playing, just showing up may be enough to win. Defense, rebounding, and sharing the ball will be keys as always. |

After seeing Al Horford in the Final Four vs my Bruins and tonight vs the Buckeyes, I would not be too disappointed to see him in Celtic green next year. Plus I would love to see our kids end the year on a winning streak -- what can I say, I'm old-fashioned that way.  |

But if we draft Al Horford (who is a good player in the mold of Udonis Haslem), will we then move Big Al to Center? Horford is likely 6'8", which will give us one of the shortest starting frontcourt in the league (plus it'll be confusing when we talk about Al, since they both will look).

Horford would be a very good pick for Boston. Horford, Jefferson, and Perkins would be one of the best young big men troikas in the NBA.

Milwaukee announced that Skinner, Redd and Williams are out today for some mysterious maladies... They all played last night and there was no record of any injuries in the game last night. Tommy is pretty ticked about it. He said that it is very clear what they are doing there and they better have doctor's reports on all of them because they should come under scrutiny for it. He said that if he was coaching tonight he would have Rondo shooting 3's, Allan Ray driving to the basket, and Perk playing point guard. I just bet he would, too. This game could get very ugly.

We have the Bucks feed UGH! Patterson, Boykins, Bell, Ilysova and Gadzuric starting for the Bucks. West, Rondo, Green, Gomes, and Perk starting for Boston. Bucks definitely have the advantage in experience.
Bucks win the tip. Gadzuric gets inside for a layup. West misses a jumper. Patterson rebounds. Boykins is fouled by Rondo from behind as he makes a move to the basket. Boykins hits both FTs. Gomes finds a cutting Rondo who lays it in and draws a foul. he misses the FT and Bucks rebound. Patterson misses and West rebounds. Perk hits a hook shot on the baseline. Bell hits a jumper in the paint. Gomes misses a jumper and Perk rebounds and gets it to Gomes cutting to the basket and he lays it in. Bucks miss and Celtics rebound. West hits a jumper. Ilyasova shoots an airball that goes out of bounds to Boston. Gomes inside misses a layup. Perk rebounds but loses it in a crowd under the basket. Bucks with a layup. Perk misses a hook shot and is called for a foul on the rebound. Ilyasova misses and Patterson tips in the miss. Green hits a jumper on the baseline. Bell misses a jumper. Ilyasova rebounds and then throws it away as gomes comes up with it. West takes it in for a dunk. Patterson draws a foul on Green. He misses both FTs and Perk rebounds. Rondo gets the ball inside and lays it in. Bucks miss and West erbounds. West's shot is blocked by Gadzuric and Bell hits a jumper on the other end. Gomes misses abaseline jumper and Bucks rebound. West called for a foul. Time out with 5:53 left in the first and game is tied at 12

Bell called for travelling. Green called for travelling. Noel hits a jumper. Green takes it to the basket and misses a layup. Rebound goes out off Bucks. Gomes turns it over on the inbounds pass. Telfair is in the game for Boston. Gomes has it blocked by Patterson. Bell hits a 3. Green misses a jumper and Gomes rebounds. Ball goes out off Bucks with 20 on the SC. Perk with a great pass inside to Green who misses a layup and Bucks rebound and get a fast break layup. Rondo takes it in for a layer Boykins lays it in. Telfair misses and Bucks rebound. Bell loses it out of bounds. They just used a phrase you won't hear often. Telfair has a height advantage on Boykins.... Time out with 2:40 left in the first and Bucks up 21-16

He hits both FTs. 3 second defensive violation on the Bucks. Telfair misses the T. Ray called for a travel. Patterson is fouled by Powe. He hits both FTs. Perk spins to the basket and hits a reverse layup and draws the foul. He hits the FT. Bell misses a 3 and Powe rebounds. Ray misses a 3 and perk Rebounds he misses a hook shot in the lane and Celtics rebound. Rondo called for an offensive foul. Bucks turn it over and Rondo misses a runner at the buzzer. Score at the end of 1 is Milwaukee 25 and Boston 21

He hits the FT. offensive foul called on Gadzuric. Celtics miss and Bucks foul on the rebound. Celtics inbound on the side. Ray drives baseline and is fouled. He hits both FTs. Celtics knock the ball out of bounds. Bucks inbound with 10 on the SC. Telfair gets the loose ball as Ilyasova loses the handle. Celtics miss and Gadzuric saves it from going out of bounds. Green scores quickly on the other end. Ray gives it up to Rondo in the lane and Rondo lays it in. Markota hits a jumper. Ray drives to the basket and lays it in. Rondo with a steal. Gomes misses a layup and Bucks rebound. Boykins hits a jumper. Ray hits a jumper off the catch. Bucks miss and Gomes rebounds. Ray passes inside to Pinkney who is fouled. Time out with Celtics up 32-31 and 7:15 left in the half.

He hits both FTs. Boykins hits a jumper. Pinkney gets a pass inside from West and lays it in. Reiner gets inside for a layup. Celtics miss and Bucks rebound. Boykins hits a 3. Telfair finds a cutting Pinkney who goes in for a dunk. I like what I see from Pinkney so far.
Time out with the game tied at 40 and 5:03 left in the half.
