That is a heckuva job getting the deficit down to 8 points in a little over 1/2 a qtr. Can they close out the qtr without losing ground?

Mavs inbound. Dirk hits a jumper. Rondo hits a jumper from the FT line. Green called for a foul on Stackhouse as he drives to the hoop. He hits the first and West comes in for Green. H misses the second and Al grabs the rebound. PP takes it to the hoop and misses a layup but draws the foul. PP hits both FTs. Mavs turn it over on a bad pass out of bounds. Ray comes in for Al. Harris called for a hold on PP. Mavs over the limit and PP goes to the line. He hits the first and Mavs call time out with 4.6 left in the half. PP hits the second FT. Croshere misses a 3 at the buzzer. Score at the half is Dallas 56 and Celtics 51. The Celtics came back in the second quarter and showed some grit cutting a 21 point lead to 5.

Outscored Dallas 27-11 over the last eight minutes to p1ss off Mark Cuban!
I love it!
Paul Pierce is playing like it is last game of the year. Giving up his body and getting on the FT line.

Terry misses a 3 and Mavs rebound and Terry hits on the third try. Celtics miss and Mavs rebound. Dirk hits a jumper. Lead is back to 10. PP hits a jumper at the SC. Perk blocks Dirk's shot. He played great D and the replay showed it was all ball but they called a foul. Dirk hits both FTs. PP draws the foul on Dampier. Celtics inbound on the side. PP misses a jumper and Howard rebounds. Mavs miss and Al rebounds. West misses and Mavs rebound. Rondo with a steal and he chases the ball down and is tied up by Harris. Jump ball between Harris and Rondo. Mavs win the tip. Howard hits a 3. PP drives baseline and is hit hard by Howard. Flagrant foul called. PP hits both FTs Gomes comes in for Perk. Al misses a jumper and mavs rebound. Harris lays it in. West takes it to the hoop and draws the foul on Harris. West hits both FTs. Rondo with a steal. Dirk called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. PP drives and misses a layup. Diop with the rebound. Howard gets inside for the rebound and put back. Gomes misses a jumper from the top of the key. Mavs rebound. Dirk hits a turn around jumper. Time out with 6:49 left in the third and Mavs up 72-57.

PP drives to the basket and misses a layup. Al misses the tip in. Mavs rebound and Harris hits a 3. Pierce is fouled taking it to the basket. He hits both FTs. Al called for a foul as Howard drives baseline. Howard hits the first and misses the second but Dallas gets the rebound. Dirk hits a 3. Lead is back to 20. PP drives into the line and finds Green who hits a 3. Mavs miss and rebound goes out of bounds off Boston. Powe comes in for Al. Dirk misses a 3 and Green rebounds. Green hits a jumper. Time out with Mavs up 79-64 and 4:24 left in the third.

Powe hits a short jumper in the paint. Powe gets knocked down as Bonsu gets inside for a dunk. Ray hits a 3 from the corner. Green with a steal. Powe hits a hook shot. Bonsu gets inside for a dunk. Powe hits a jumper over the defender. Mavs dribble out the clock. Final score is Mavericks 109 and Celtics 95.
