Earth to Doc... I really think we should be going with this and if anyone with any connections to the Celtics would like to please forward this to Doc Rivers please do.
STarters
PG-Rondo SG-West SF-Pierce PF-Jefferson C-Perkins
Bench
Telfair Green Gomes Kandi
Scal spot minutes.. This should be our rotation right now if Doc actually wants to win some games. I don't understand why Rondo is not starting. Is Doc not even comfortable with Telfair off the bench right now? Same with Perk. Is it because we are lacking that big guy to come off the bench? I understand to some extent but it makes no sense why at the end of games, Perk is sitting on the bench.

-He is at least going with Rondo and West at the end of games now at least.. And Pierce, Gomes, Jefferson isn't too bad, but I really would like to see mroe of JEfferson and Perk at times.
-The problem with West is he cant finish in the lane or on the break. We really need Green to step up and Allen to come back. West should really be our pg/sg off the bench. Rondo should be our starting pg. Telfair should be our 3rd guard.
-We really need another big guy because Perk should be starting alongside Jefferson imo. I don't understand why we don't utilize Kandi more.

Kandi is horrible - I would try out Powe instead of Scalabrine.
I like West as a bench scoring 3rd guard behind Rondo and Allen. That is a good guard rotation.
I awarded you a karma because you made me think. Green needs to learn to work on his defense and moving without the ball. K-Mart kicked his !!!GREENIAC!!! twice this year and I think Gerald Green should be what K-Mart is..... Perhaps he needs to work on strength and conditioning this off season.
I did not see Sczczerbiak in your rotation. I just have trouble seeing where he fits into the Celtics picture. His ankles keep breaking down on him. I would keep West and dump Sczczerbiak if I could.
We do need a Big man to anchor the defense. I was hoping Perkins could fill the role as a Starting Center but unfortunately, he is a journeyman. Do we a take a chance on Eddie Griffen or Adonal Foyle or perhaps get a backup veteran from another team? This is the question if we don't get big man help in the draft. I'm at a loss for a Celtic answer.

Eddie Griffen is human garbage. The last thing we need is that mutant hanging around our youngns. And I'd much rather have Perk over Foyle, if for no other reason Perk has a much cheaper contract.

I agree Q that I have trouble figuring out where Wally fits in. I think he is just here to fill in because Allen is injured and Green is not ready. But futurewise I don't usually list him because I think he is a goner. I agree that Rondo should be starting, West off the bench as the pg/sg and Allen. That is a good backcourt rotation. I think we should get rid of Telfair. We need a center that much is obvious. I still like Perk a lot and think he can do some things. If Perk would ever stop bringing the ball down like Tommy always points out he'd be a very good player.

Perk's still has to stop picking up fouls like gold rupees. Start drinking the magic non-fouling elixer that Al Jefferson strating using this season or something. 3 fouls in 6 minutes? That calls for one of my patented "What the crap?"s.

Perk is playing with plantar fasciitis. He can't move laterally hardly at all. He has no lift. Not being able to move well is helping him to pick up a lot of quick fouls. I wish Doc would just shut him down and let his foot get healthy. He is playing at 60% and that isn't helping him or the team. I love his toughness and his work ethic and his desire to play but he really isn't helping the team or himself a lot right now playing on 1 foot. On the other hand, Perk had 2 rebounds in 5 minutes of play last night and our starting center had 2 rebounds in 25 minutes of play.

Doc is out of options. Or give Leon Powe a tryout. Danny cut his own throat and Docs by shipping out Blount, LaFrentz, RD, and Reed for Ratliffe and Sczczerbiak. Portland beat LA and is having a respectable season with draft pick Brandon Roy as a leading scorer. We could have used Brandon Roy this year. Oh wait Doc Rivers is the coach and would find an excuse to bench him. My god, our Celtics are truly a mess.

I think I am quoted as saying Roy would be the "real deal". He is. Ainge flunked that trade. Anyway, why does Doc even play Scala?

No one could have predicted that 3 of our 4 main wing players (Pierce, Wally and Tony) would have missed chuncks of the season due to injury. No one was planning on that. And that's why there wasn't a need for Brandon Roy. We already have those 3 guys, plus a blossoming Gerald Green, and Delonte West--where would Roy fit? Would he have gotten any playing time if none of those guys ever went down with injuries?

Wally needs conditioning. Way to heavy.
