If Gerald Green wins the slam dunk contest, then he is a hot commodity and with Ratliffe and Telfair we can go out and get a Mike Bibby or a Damon Stoudemire.
Gilmon and Patrick on ESPN radio are talking about that.
They think fully healthy, that the Celtics are a .500 club going down the stretch.
As much as I like Delonte West, I'm thinking that at extension time it is going to come down to him vs Tony Allen at the 2 guard and I pick Tony Allen every time.
Another guy I'd like to dump is Scalabrine if Powe would just get a chance to compete. That is classic Doc and Danny ploy to hide the good young players as long as possible and limit their earning potential. These bozos that run the team need to leave town as Chris Mannix has said.

Playing time is the difference between 20 points & 10 rebounds vs. 10 points and 5 rebounds. Danny may get the last laugh, when we can sign all the the prodigies to bargain contracts and win the championship.

In my eyes, Gerald Green is already a hot commodity. Winning the slam dunk title will open the rest of the world's eyes to his amazing potential.

GG winning the slam dunk contest can only help his value. I would def. be interested in bringing Bibby in(though his fg% scars me). I pair of autographed GG sneakers could score us DStoudamire. No way. Not with the hellacious schedule we have for the next month. THis is def. Going to be tough decision. I'm still up in the air with these two. Next year will decide the future's of these two. I have a hard time believing that Powe is this major talent and that we are keeping him on the pine to lower his market value. The more logical explanation is that he isnt that good.

Actually we will lose the good players to other teams and be stuck with the junkers and project prospects. But at least our payroll should be commeasurate with the teams ability. I reserve the right to amend this statement if Oden walks through that door.
