Pierce starting 0-8? I hate to feel they are rushing him back at this point in the season. I understand he wants to play but it doesn't seem like he is helping at this point. Let him rest through the ASG.

Pierce played for himself tonight. 4-16? 16 shots in 20 minutes. I am starting to lose respect for the guy.

I saw the game and I am way to discouraged to comment on this team. They are an embarrassment to the NBA right now. I am truly ashamed to be a Celtics fan and I have no energy left to follow this pathetic basketball team. They played with no heart tonight and most of these kids should be in school getting better coaching than what Doc Rivers is capable of giving them. Green made some horrendous passes and does not belong out there. Pierce was out of shape and his timing was off. Rondo had no where to pass the ball because no body moves without the ball. I wish the Celtics could simply forfeit the rest of the games and just be given their 25% chance of winning the lottery. They look like the worst team in the history of the NBA. Bad teams like New Jersey whip their !!!GREENIAC!!! on their homecourt easily.

At one point our losses were close, but seems like lately they have been by double-figures. We just seem to be a dejected group who expects bad things to happen.

Mev, I tend to agree. I would think that by winning a game, the team can move forward w/ the season.

Lately, the opposing teams have been playing their best basketball of the season as they don't want to be the ones to break the streak. Players are having career games against us. Our team is demoralized and don't have the attitude they need to win. If they could just win one game, the monkey would be off their backs and the stigma of losing to them would be gone and we can start to move in the right direction again. I do believe that this team has the talent to win these games. But they just can't pull together enough to do so. Coaching certainly has to come in for some scrutiny. Our shooting percentage shows that the losing is getting into players' psyches. We have players who are good shooters and yet in games they just can't hit anything.
