Doc Rivers was not happy with Rajon Rondo against the Spurs and yelled at him on the court and on the bench. I wasn't used to seeing Doc stay that upset for so long, but Doc explained why he was so heated in this artlce: www.hoopsworld.com/article_20561.shtmlBut I wonder ... Doc is giving Rondo and his team tough love ... [glow=red,2,300]but is it tough enough??[/glow]

Do Doc has a lot of problems, but being a hard-!!!GREENIAC!!! doesnt seem to be one of them. He seems to have no problem unleashing on his players.

Hey there, BostonBallin. Welcome aboard to Celtics Green. Hope we see you around here often.
Is Doc tough enough? I'd say he's a friendly disciplinarian. He's the type who will scold a kid for making a mistake and make him cry, but right after that, take the kid to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream and joke around with him to make him feel better.

I'd have to agree with Derren's observations. Doc is a little weird. I guess I'd have to be there. If the kid knows better I guess it's ok to unload on a guy as long as you also praise things done really well. Each coach is different. Parcells, Belicheck, Phil Jackson, B Knight, Coach K. A horse can't talk like a dog and a dog can't talk like a horse.

The team plays soft and that is a direct reflection on the coach.

I don't know about soft, but there is definitely less killer instinct and it's been that way a while.

I would like to see a stat, which shows how many games the Celtics were in the game for 3 quarters, only to be out scored in the last quarter. Seems like that everytime I read the box score.
