Giving credit to where credit is due, Delonte has been playing very well at the Point lately. I've been pretty adamant about keeping Lefty at the 2 while giving Telfair and Rajon most of the minutes at the 1, and I still hold to that. But Delonte's been passing the ball well lately and he's been pushing the tempo as well. Even in the halfcourt sets, he's quickening the tempo, which is exactly what our team needs. Good job, Delonte.
Rajon needs to be given props as well. Its not that he's sneaking under anyone's radar, but he's been playing the style of basketball that we need (fast and aggressive) and that has led to a lot of positive thoughts about our future success. And his shooting has been getting better as well. He hasn't taken many perimeter shots, but his free throws look better.
Perk also needs to be given props. He's been playing through the pain and hasn't given up. He played really well in the 1st half of the Hawks game the other night and I hope to see more of the same.

I think West at the 1 has a lot to do with giving GG lots of time at the 2. I think it is worth taking a look at him at the 2 and see if he turns out like Terry for the Mavs. he is a good shooter who has also played the PG and helps out when Harris gets shut down by defensive strategy. Rondo, like Harris, is lightnigh fast. Eventually there will be a loser in the contest at the 2. Just not sure yet who it will be, and won't be until next year when see how Allen comes back and how GG has progressed with increased time at the 2.

The young guys have been able to develop because Rivers has confidence in them and understands the difference between college and the NBA: www.hoopsworld.com/article_20216.shtml"They don't get a lot of time honestly, so it's tough," said Rivers. "The toughest part of the NBA is in college you have 100 practices and 30 games and in the NBA you have 100 games and 30 practices. So it's very difficult for them to get a lot of work in but I think [they] will help us at some point this year. You just got to hang in there but I do like their progress."

Welcome bostonballin. Hopefully, our young guys can get and stay healthy so there will be no more roadblocks to their development. Hard to get chemistry when people are in and out of the lineup.

The loser in this contast is Telfair.
Just remember that Rajon was in Doc's dog house in the beginning of the year as well. Telfair will make a big comeback at some point this season. Yes, his defense is lacking at this point, but offensively, I think Doc just needs to let Telfair (and Rondo) take the reins and run the team. He can't have them run set halfcourt plays all the time and expect these guys to look like Jason Kidd and John Stockton.
