Rondo and Ray are really good sports to dress up like this for the kids. The picture is just too funny. I really like seeing all that the players do in the community.

Rondo and Ray Team Up with South End Students to Perform a Special Read to Achieve Play
BOSTON (January 23, 2007) - Boston Celtics guards Rajon Rondo and Allan Ray performed in a play with students from the Blackstone Elementary School in the South End today as part of the Celtics Read to Achieve program. Rondo and Ray were joined by Celtics legend Dana Barros and representatives from New England Eye Center and the Pepsi Bottling Group.
"It's very important that children learn to love reading at a young age," Rondo said. "We had a great time today meeting these kids and acting in the play with them. Whether acting in a play with friends or sitting by yourself with a book, reading is a great form of entertainment and enjoyment."
Rondo and Ray acted out scenes from a play based on the children's book "The Family Gruff". They also discussed their favorite books and the importance of reading in their lives and read with students from third, fourth and fifth grades. Rondo and Ray gave each student cast member The Boston Celtics Hero Book.

The Boston Celtics Hero Book, produced by the Celtics Women's Group, is the first Celtics themed children's book. The book helps children identify characteristics they admire in other people while encouraging them to emulate those in their own lives. The Boston Celtics Hero Book is available at select Borders and Waldenbooks locations and on celtics.com. All net proceeds from sales will go to support the charitable giving of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation.
