Just watching this young team play has many bright spots. Against the Hawks, the 1st quarter was a big bright spot and the second quarter wasn't so bad either. You may think, 'sure, but its against the Hawks.' But the Hawks are right about at the same age level as we are and they have Joe Johnson and Josh Smith. But yet, Delonte was carving them out with his penetrations and quick passes and Jefferson was pump faking every big man off the ground. And Gerald was hitting his jumpers, while Perkins was working hard to pull down the boards and give us some points.
This young team is showing growth out there right now, as we speak, and though we may still have our bouts of youthful mistakes, we are improving and growing. I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel.
