1. Memphis 9-29 2. Philadelphia 10-28 3. Boston 12-25 4. Charlotte 12-24 5. Atlanta 11-23
Boston is one and one against Memphis. Boston is one and one against Philly Boston is two and one against Charlotte Boston is O and 1 against Atlanta.
So we fit squarely into this class of bottom feeders.

We've got to sit Pierce the rest of the year. We need to be one of the top 3 worst teams this year. How we finish this season will have serious ramifications on the next 15+ years of this franchise.

Memphis has been doing better lately They should be - Pau Gasol is back in the lineup. But they are the last team in the NBA stuck in single digit victories.

What-ever it takes to get a better draft, I'm for it.

I am undecided, Oden or Durant? So many choices.

Oden first, Durant second, and Spencer Hawes third. After that, there's a whole lot of high quality bigs to choose from, namely Brandon Wright, Joakim Noah, and Yi Jianlian.

Memphis has been doing better lately Yes, they started doing better when Fratello was fired and a new coach brought in. Fratello micromanaged the team just like Doc does. The new coach has them running and playing to their strengths. They play on instinct which is much easier for teams than having to run a certain play every time down. If we changed coaches, we would be doing much better too. Even with all the injuries.

I read this on the CS list
I wonder if maybe the shine on Oden is getting a little dim. He may be like many of the dominant HS players that can't translate to the next level.
I don't know because I haven't seen him play but have read a few things that suggest that he may not be the best player in the next draft. But the draft will be very strong and any player we get in the top 3 could be a franchise player.

Oden will turn it up in February and March. Don't worry about that one.

I have no doubt that Greg Oden has the ability inside of him to be a dominant player, moreso as a defensive player. But what I have noticed is that there are times when he's not playing as hard, or as fierce as he can. Its not that he's a lazy player, but I think it has more to do with him being a super nice guy. He probably has to work himself up to want to dominate a game.

He probably has to work himself up to want to dominate a game. Remember the guy is playing with one hand. He still has that brace on his right arm. I'm impressed with the guy, he shoots free throws with his left hand. Also remember in college teams can effectively take out oden by playing a zone. Most teams will play that way against ohio st. Opposing teams will live with the buckeyes beating them from the outside, but they will not allow oden to just dominate. If we get the first pick, his name should already be on the back of the jersey.

Right, taking away a player's dominant hand will affect him greatly. It even affects his rebounding because he can't strongly secure the ball using 2 hands.
But he is a super nice guy, and that affects his game as well. He's very much like David Robinson in that sense (as well as being a gazelle like athlete at 7 feet).

For some reason, I think Oden will turn out like Pervis Ellison in the pros. Oden has been fairly quiet on a very good OSU team. On the other hand, Durant has been awesome.
