Doc has vowed to slow things down to a crawl, but TJ Ford is one of the quickest PGs in the league and isn't going to want to slow down. Keys to game:Get through the game without any more injuries. Beyond that, if we play hard and see some progress from players, it is a good thing.

Toronto is locked in a three way battle for first place in the Atlantic. New Jersey won in Chicago tonight (Thurs) so Toronto needs to match the win in Boston to keep pace.
Boston is having a horrible season and this injury to Tony Allen bodes ill for this team going nowhere.

Nice turnout the night before a game. Nice job Greeniacs. We do have hope. We have a great family here...
I see a Celts win by 10 points. Big Al and GGreen lead by nice numbers from SabTel... Ast as it were. Team passing is a must.

I thought Telfair played very well in spurts against the Pacers, and I hope Doc again allows him to run the team. But if TJ Ford gets off to a hot start, Doc needs to get Rajon in the game quickly.

Given time, Gomes/Jefferson/Perkins can be quite the rebounding front line. The guys just have to keep the ball moving and moving without the ball. I'm hoping for some bone-crushing screens from Perk to open up Green.

I guess since we've been decimated by injuries, we have to go with a bigger lineup. I don't really like the idea of Perkins, Jefferson and Gomes in the starting lineup together because it makes us an extremely slow team. But this will be a good time for Doc to utilize pick and rolls. With 3 big bodies, Telfair and Rajon can get free from their defenders off of picks. But the guys will need to roll and get open and not just stand there after the pick.

Perkins can set a mean pick (Just don't move) - and if he can pop and knock down a 15 foot open Jump shot - that would be gravy - if he misses than Ryan Gomes (or Leon Powe or Gerald Fly By) can get weakside offensive rebounding opportunites.

Doc is continuing to say that he plans to slow the game to a crawl. He doesn't feel that we can run now. So it is hard to tell what to expect.

Well, if that's his game plan, he's gotta run pick and rolls for Telfair and Rondo.
