I am not for trading Pierce for Gasol. Pierce is the heart & soul of this team.

But i think that's the problem. If we aren't good for a long time how good can our heart and soul be?

Winning solves everything. Besides, Pierce needs a side-kick. AKA - jefferson.

I just don't think Gasol is that good. He is a good player, and is the type of guy that can really compliment a good team, but I'm scared of turning into the kings here. We need guys like Pierce. I dont want to be a fragile team that one guy goes down and we choke. I dont think this team is that good where we can afford to trade Pierce for a guy like Gasol right now. We are still trying to upgrade our talent not downgrade and that's what we'd be doing. This would be a move based on need not talent.

If we trade Pierce, we are going to get $.50 on the dollar. If Jefferson improves, like he has this season, the team will have an inside presence to go w/ an outside presence. And a more developed Green would be icing on the cake.
