Key Matchup:
vs
Paul Gasol vs Big Al should be a good matchup. Gasol has a height advantage but Al can match up with quickness and low post moves.
Last Game Between the Teams:
• Both teams shot well from the free throw line: MEM – Season-high 92.9% (39-of-42); BOS – Opp. season-high 91.7% (22-of-24).
• Dahntay Jones and Lawrence Roberts (off the bench) both recorded season-high scoring nights with 18 points apiece.
• Roberts shot 14-of-15 from the free throw line (career-highs for both makes and attempts) and also had seven rebounds and two steals.
• Gerald Green led the Celtics’ reserves with 21 points, outscoring Grizzlies reserves by a margin of 45-31 overall.
• KEY NOTE – Rudy Gay connected on the game-winning jumper from 15 feet with 2.6 second remaining.
Interesting Question:
Why exactly does Mike Miller wear his hair that way?
Keys to the Win:
Play as a team. In the Cavs game we played like a team: Finding the open man, running the pick and roll, helping on defense. We have to do all those things again.
Wally's shooting Wally has hurt us in the games since he sprained his ankle by not being able to hit his shots. He needs to stop shooting if he is still struggling and take it to the basket or make it happen for someone else.
Defense. As with every game, defense is a key. We need to be able to handle defensive pressure on offense and to play tough defense on the other end of the floor.
