at Charlotte Bobcats at Boston Celtics TD Banknorth Garden 7:30 PM TV: League Pass 754, FSNE Radio: WRKO Probable Starters Celtics Telfair/ Pierce/ Wally/ Gomes/ Perk Key Players Off the Bench Rondo/ Jefferson/ West Bobcats Knight/ Felton/ Wallace/ Okafor/ May Key Players Off the Bench Morrison/ Voskuhl/ Harrington The Celtics are simplifying their offense and going with 2 basic plays to try to get the running game going. Hopefully they are working on defense also since that seems to be our biggest problem. Delonte has been struggling but a healthy Delonte playing the way he did last season would be a huge help. Al has been playing very well and hopefully that will continue. Ratliff has been practicing and may take Perk's place in the starting lineup if healthy and ready to play. Doc has said that Green is ready for more minutes and will probably take some of Tony's minutes. I would love to see Powe get some minutes. Keys to the game: Defense and rebounding. These are keys to every game. Cut down on turnovers. The simplified offense should help with this. Get the running game going. We haven't seen the running game yet in the regular season and hopefully the simplifed offense will help with this as well. The Celtics need this game. We are the only team without a win and need to pick one up now before things get out of hand and the team becomes completely demoralized. As much as any game this early can be, this game is a must win.

I'm going to enjoy this game, even though its not a marque matchup. I like Raymond Felton, Adam Morrison and Gerald Wallace. And if Theo is healthy enough to play, and not just for 5 minutes, I think we can do better a better job defensively. Practice seems to be better and we are simplifying our playbook. I'm looking for our 1st win to come in this game.
I'm also looking forward to Jefferson taking sole possession of the 3rd scorer's role. He's capable of it, but he'll need to get the ball more frequently and get his shot attempts. Telfair could also be a consistent scoring option. His jumper is improving. He currently leads the team in FG% (54%) and 3pt FG% (50%). I don't expect this to be his season's final numbers, but I expect him to be better than a 40% shooter this season.

Actually, Dallas just joined us at 0 and 3 by losing at home to Golden St, UGH FOR THEM. So that means that Dallas and Boston will meet in the 2007 NBA Finals.

Q at the 6:00 minute start, The Celtics come out with poor energy and cannot run against Charlotte or do anything in the 1/2 court. Charlotte is efficient with their offense scoring either inside or out. This is not looking to promising and Adam Morrison has not taken a shot yet.

Q at the 3:00 min mark 1st Qtr. This game is getting away from us as Charlotte appears to be much the superior team. Tony Allen made a horrible play plowing into Brevin Knight that caused Cousy to curse. This sucks.

Q at the qtr - The Celtics are flat out horrible but at least they are trying to play some defense and that is keeping them in touch down 7 instead of down 15 or more. This is Charlotte we are talking about here. Imagine if it were Phoenix or San Antonio in here. It might be 46-10 right now.
