to me west and allen have both their pros and cons. however i base my opinion on the fact that at best case they both will be good role players off the bench in the future. west will always be too short and weak to compete with kobes and tracys of the league. in that sense allen is better in his role as a defensive specialist and in certain case even has a chance to start.

I could def. see both of these guys being fantastic back-ups. they both play mult. positions, and by having them come off the bench you can mask their defensive shortcomings.
