He's more agile than Gomes. He may have a better one on one game than Gomes, but I feel that Gomes is a better garbage player. Hope Doc can find ways to use both their strengths.

Yeah, didn't see much of him in college, but from that video you can see he has handles for a big guy, and can take his man off the dribble better than Ryan. He also has very good footwork down in the block.
You can't tell b-ball instincts at all from that video though. I think Gomes has him beat there. It looks as if he can be a solid backup at the 4. Training camp will be interesting again this year.

OH EDDIE! they all had a hard time growing up. The whole league is one big cry fest. I mean nobody could have had a worse childhood than Luke Walton. The boy grew up with Jerry Garcia and his parents walking around nekkid in the house. And poor AI. His mommy and him used to talk about how when he grew up they'd be rich and wear so much jewelry. Then when he really did become rich they personaly started the entire bling bling movement.

I had a hard time too. Grew up on a dry-land cotton farm.
And had a brother who was an !!!GREENIAC!!!.
Hmmmm. Come to think of it, he still is.

one reason I'd like to see him in summer league is t hat I think DA will be looking at that more than usual.
He'll be looking on Gomes progress. As I recall, they wanted him to lose a little weight and work on ball handling, w hich sounds like some 3.
Will be first chance to look at Jones, to see what he may offer.
Powe would make 3.
DA isn't going to make a trade or sign anyone this week. Hoe t hese 3 go will ive him something to ponder as he thinks about roster tinkering.
